EXPERIENCE
We looked at the pictures of the
structure of a rocket ship to
review what we discussed in the
last experience. Leann picked 2
paper rolls to use them as the
boosters. She wrapped the paper
rolls with green cellophane and
pipe cleaners and connected
them with other tissue boxes.
Leann added 2 pipe cleaners with
cellophane to the tissue box to
represent the fire. After that, she
put a paper roll into a paper cup
to represent the spaceman and
used glitter glue to decorate
them. She used more boxes to
make a ‘slide’ for people in the
rocket ship as she said that
people could slide down when
they were out of the spacecraft. A
number of patterns were made
on the boxes and paper rolls by
Leann. She used a range of
coloured glitter glue to decorate
and created a line of glitter dots
as ‘stepping stones’.
