Unit Summary:
In this unit plan we will be discussing events beginning in the late eighteenth century to the present. This is an overview of world history and how specific events
shaped the past, present, and future. In this unit students will understand how diverse cultures have shaped world history. Students will be able to explain how
political and economic ideologies influenced imperialism and the industrialization. Students will use research to provide evidence why the world wars began
and ended. Student will engage in high level thinking while defining globalization and how it affected the present economy.

Assessment Plan:
