Manual instructions for creating GUI status ‘STATUS’ in report TERM_TBX_EXPORT.

1. Copy the Standard GUI status for report execution.

• Go to SE80
• Select ‘Program’ from the drop down available in Object Category field.
• Enter ‘RSSYSTDB’ in the Object Name field and click on display button
• Expand the node ‘GUI Statuses’ to see the standard status ‘ %_00 ‘ with description

• Right click on status ‘ %_00 ‘ and select option ‘Copy…’

• a pop-up window appears as below

• retain the Program and status information in ‘from’ section and change Program & Status details
in ‘to’ section as shown below and click on ‘Copy’ button with below information

• Further one more pop-up appears for confirmation about the copy, you can change the short
texts for the new objects if required and click on ‘Apply’ button.

• A success message appears below showing that the copy is done.

 2. Now open the report TERM_TBX_EXPORT in transaction SE80

The GUI status copied from the other program is of status ‘Inactive’ by default.

• Expand the item ‘Menu Bar’ by clicking on button next to the text.
• This looks as below after expanding, double click on ‘Program’ (highlighted)

More function codes appear under ‘Program’ as shown below

• Go to change mode by selecting icon on the application tool bar

• Place cursor on code PRIN and press ‘F7’ (function key), a success message appears as below

and the function code is de-activated.

• Repeat the same procedure for code SJOB also by pressing F7, a message appears

• Both the function codes are now de-activated , also the function key assigned to these functions
also appears as disabled, see below picture
 • Check for consistency of the GUI status by pressing button Check Syntax (Ctrl+F2) on tool
bar.

• A message appears, continue further for activation of the status

by clicking on the button Activate (Ctrl+F3).

• A pop-up appears with the object details required for activation, click Enter / press the button

Once this is done, a success message appears as below

The new GUI status is now available and is ready for use in the report TERM_TBX_EXPORT.

On execution of the report, the Menu bar options on initial selection screen looks as below
