Food Insecurity Among CSUSB Students

Pre-Survey
Food insecurity is the limited physical, social and economic access to sufficient, safe and
nutritious food that meets dietary needs for an active and healthy life. This survey has been put
together to understand the demographics, knowledge, practice, and attitudes among CSUSB
students regarding the topic of food insecurity and knowledge of the The Obershaw DEN (The
DEN). All information gathered will be utilized for the purpose of the Health Science Department
graduate program and your information will be unidentified. This survey should take you
between 4-8 minutes.

In the last 12 months, did you or any other adults in your household ever cut the size of your
meals or skip meals because there wasn’t enough food?
