The filtrate is heated and added
500 grams of sugar while stirred
until formed like caramel
(coagulate).

allowed so chill.
- the product is blended little by
little and filtered to get powder
(peach color).
3. Making syrup of spice Before : The third experim
- curcuma rhizome : orange produces syrup of
- cinnamon : brown spice (empon-
- acid : brown empon)
- sugar : white grain
- turmeric rhizome : yellow and
white
After :
- All of ingredients are washed
with water except acid and sugar.
- The spices are sliced into small
pieces without peeled.
- added all of ingredients into pan
that fill with 350 mL of boiling
water and closed the pan with the
cover.
- 500 grams of sugar is added.
Stirred until the sugar is dissolve
and the ingredients is still boiled
until thick and become syrup
(empon-empon or spice syrup).
