Would you like to know more about how an asset accountant transfers an
asset from one asset master data record to another within the same
company code?

(1) To open the app, select the Post Transfer Within Company Code tile.

(2) Enter 1010 as the company code and choose Continue.

(3) Enter the asset number you want to transfer from. For this example, enter 200132 and
press Enter.

(4) To enter the accounting principle, open the list.

(5) Select LG Local GAAP.

(6) Choose Copy.

(7) To select the document date, choose the date picker.

(8) Today's date is automatically selected, choose Continue.

(9) To select the asset value date, choose the date picker.

(10) Today's date is automatically selected, choose Continue.

(11) Enter the asset number you want to transfer to. For this example, enter 200133 and
press Enter.

(12) To reference the aquisition year, choose Partial Transfer.

(13) Select the appropriate radio button according to the acquisition year of the asset to be
retired. For this example, to set the aquisition year to the current year, select From curr.-yr
acuis.

(14) Choose Post.

The success message confirms the asset transaction has been posted.

(15) To return to the launchpad, choose Home.

You have successfully transfered an asset from one asset master data
