 The roads are not being properly maintained by the government which cause our
buses to receive damage; tires must be changed more frequently and drivers must take
extra caution on the road.
o I do not think that the bus fares at the moment are sufficient in order to pay of the cost
incurred by us bus drivers.
o We are also vulnerable to robberies especially late at nights when vehicles are scarcely
found on the roads and also because of the lack of lamp posts along some of the roads.
o High operating costs such as costs to maintain bus and also costs of bus parts. (You can
add more difficulties gee)

 The price of gas is still too high because of inflation within our economy.
 Roads are not being maintained properly because of the lackadaisical government.
 Bus fares are too low as the government do not make it their duty to ensure that us
bus drivers have a stable income in order to maintain our buses and to provide for
ourselves and our families.
 We are vulnerable to robberies as the police are not doing their jobs of patrolling the
streets effectively and as a result thieves can roam about easily.
 It is very expensive to import mini buses and also the parts for these buses are very
expensive so large loans must be taken in order for us to be able to do our duties as
bus drivers.

 Gas prices should be further reduced to decrease the costs incurred by us
drivers.
 The government should be more productive and fix the roads and maintain
them better in order for smooth passage along the roads and so that out buses
will not take much damage.
 The bus fares should be raised so that we drivers will make a greater income
and be able to use that money on maintenance of our buses.
 More lamp posts should be put on roads to allow for safer driving at night
 Police patrols should be done 24/7 to deter criminals from robbing us drivers
 Government should give incentives to drivers to help buy parts for buses and to
help purchase buses and pay off loans

Passengers sometimes display unruly behavior like shouting and not wanting to pay the drivers
They also disobey rules by eating and drinking on the buses even though the drivers indicate
that this is prohibited
