WORK EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS


 Science Skills Specialist/ Instructional Coach (2017-2019), Aldine High School and CTE
Blanson High School, Houston, TX.
 I developed and implemented the Biology STAAR Action Plan for the re-testers at
Aldine Senior High School and achieved the second-best performance in the district
for this type of test.
 Currently I am implementing the Biology STAAR Action Plan for new testers at
Blanson High School. The department’s goal is on track, obtaining the highest
district results on the benchmark.
 I structured and implemented the Professional Learning Community (PLC) at each
of the science subject level.
 Department Chair/Skills Specialist of Science (2012-2016), Aldine High School, Houston,

 I strategically developed, implemented, and assessed the action plans for the TAKS
and STAAR testers and the number of students that passed the Science TAKS exit
increased from 37% to 92%, and the Biology STAAR scores increased from 40%
passing rate to 82% (this last one for re-testers students).
 The Chemistry STAAR scores (97% passing) were the highest in the district and 16%
above the state.
