Year 8 Arabic Holiday Homework

Term 3, you will inshaAllah be studying about ‘Celebrations’. In preparation for the topic,
you are required to:

1) Create/organise a photo album that represents different activities/traditions you

have attempted during Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr. You must include colour printed
photos. You are required to briefly write/type in simple Arabic what most of your
photos represent or show. No English words must be visible. It must be colourful and
very well presented. You must include at least 10 different photos of activities.
Prepare yourself to present your album to your peers. Your name and year level
must be visible on your photo album if for any reason you do not have a photo of
yourself in there.
*Examples of students’ previous photo albums they put together are presented
below to give you an idea, however you may wish to google other examples for extra
guidance.
2) Provide a full A4 word document size table that includes at least 20 words of
vocabulary that relate to ‘Celebrations’ in English AND Arabic. Your name and year
must be visible on the top or bottom of the page.

DUE DATE: A photo of the album to be TURNED IN on Managebac by SATURDAY July 21st
2018.

NOTE: You must TURN IN the first and second part simultaneously by the due date
mentioned and hand in the hard copy of your photo album during the first Arabic lesson
of Term 3.
