TARGETING IDEAS FOR AT

1. WP mission against a Chemical Agent site.

A. Could be a gun battery or missile launcher with non-persistent nerve agent.
1. WP would destroy the agent.
2. Info that people on a target list are at a location (building, valley, etc.).
A. Are in a NO-FIRE area?
B. Are any weapons systems available to BN that can be used in a NO-FIRE area?
3. Turkish military requests BN to assist them with supporting fires against Government forces.
A. Turkish military turning against the elected Government.
1. Wants BN to fire on Gov’t buildings.
4. Turkish military wants help from BN to assist in protecting a Muslim sect being shot at by
Syrian Gov’t forces near the border.
A. Suffi’s or a similar gnostic sect, Druse, etc.
5. Turks request fires into Iraqi Kurdland.
A. Kurds are firing rockets into Turkey and the Turks have a POO.
6. FO’s are watching the border of Turkey and Syria. They observe a group of “soldiers”
surrender to another group. The FO’s realize that the surrendering troops have given up to a
Hamas faction. The Hamas faction begins executing the surrendered troops and the FO’s call
for fires.
A. Can BN shoot across the border?
B. What to do with the info of a War crime?
C. This really happened to our FO’s in Iraq after Desert Storm. The Republican Guard
would bring Shiites to the “border and execute them on their side.
7. Turkish Gov’t Official asks for assistance against the Turkish Military.
A. The request would come shortly after (with in minutes) of the Turkish military’s
request.
8. S-2 gets a report of a meeting at a location that happens every week, at the same time.
A. Later gets info on who shows up to the meeting.
1. Meeting place could be in the country the BN is in or just across the border.
B. Would lead to #2.
1. The FO’s could be directed by S-3 to keep an eye on the location, with a list of
targets and pictures.
9. FO’s call directly to one of the Gun Batteries with a fire mission.
A. FO’s could be Foreign Nationals who were trained by that Battery or worked with
them so they only feel comfortable working with them.
B. FO’s could be Syrian Gov’t or Anti-Gov’t forces trying to get U.S. forces to commit an
international incident.
C. Will get the Battery and BN FDC’s talking.
10. Battery gets some target (chem agents, Terrorists, etc.).
A. Very time sensitive info. Must get clearance of fires very quickly.
11. NATO troops become lost and come under fire.
A. They are across the border.
B. FO’s see them and call a fire mission to support them.
1. BN must get clearance of fires, safety, etc.
12. U.S. Special forces are on cross border mission and request fires support.
13. On Call mission, to support Special forces.
14. Given orders from on high to shell a village.
A. Village has a horrid disease that is extremely contagious. WP or high amounts of HE
will save the day and maybe the planet.
1. Bird flu or Zombie itious.
15. FO’s spot a landing strip, just across the border.
A. Being used by Iranian Hamas troops.
B. Planes unloading troops and loading drugs.
16. FO’s spot a Hamas weapons cache across the border and want to shoot it.
