Year 8 Arabic Holiday Homework

Term 4, you will inshaAllah be studying about family. In preparation for this topic, you are
required to complete 2 things:

1) Choose and create one of the projects shown below (photos of different projects are
provided for a clear visual) to represent your family in ARABIC. You must search the
Arabic word for each family member (such as my dad, my mum, my sister, etc.) and
have them presented/labelled in your final work with their Arabic name as well as a
small photo of them. No English words must be visible. It must be creative and very
well presented. Prepare yourself to present your work to your peers. Your name and
year level must be visible somewhere on your project.

2) Provide a full A4 word document size table that includes at least 20 words of
vocabulary that relate to ‘Family’ in English AND Arabic. Your name and year must be
visible on the top or bottom of the page.

DUE DATE: A photo of your project as well as your vocabulary table are to be TURNED IN
on Managebac by SATURDAY October 13th 2018.

NOTE: You must TURN IN the first and second part simultaneously by the due date
mentioned and hand in the hard copy of your project during the first Arabic lesson of
Term 4.
