2. Executive Summary

Creating Engaging Social Content

Beginning with quick yet thorough planning/preparation, my team and I will plan

out a dynamic on-going social content calendar to guide you to your goals.

My team and I will grow an increasing social audience and follower base through: hash

tag campaigns, strong use of keywords, sharing/retweeting relevant news, "liking"

posts, staying updated within the industry, and contributing our own unique content to

broaden reach

Our plan is to engage your social media audience by sharing company news, press

releases, events, employee spotlights, and more.


We will also pay close attention to industry trends, and share it. This will help to gain

exposure with your target market.

Integrate Social Media Activity into Other

Marketing Plans

With clear communication and monthly brainstorm meetings, we'll be able to

consolidate the marketing initiatives to fit your goals and promotional material.

Campaigns via social media are more important than just sharing about giveaways, sales,

contests, and/or promotions. We will agree on a schedule for a series of posts to keep up

the exciting momentum for all prospective customers.

Promotions and Social Campaigns

We will utilize social channels to connect with your follower base, and engage them with

promotions to get them excited about both current events, and the Daniel brand itself.

These campaigns can last as short as a day, or can run up to six months. We'll be able to

run analytics on the results from each campaign, and then we will provide a report of its

success.

Results of campaigns can be compared so the most effective promotions, offers, or

contests can be replicated.


Sustained Monitoring

It is important to regularly maintain marketing activity for maximum growth. We will

continually monitor each channel, and will respond to any questions, comments, and

posts within a two hour time period. Two hours will allow us to confirm that accurate

information is relayed back to the person asking.

Analytics

We will provide you with:

Daily and Weekly Analytics- Such as: follower growth, reach, demographics, comments,

"Likes", shares, retweets, etc. Reporting and Summarizing various results and activities

over each quarter. We will set up a meeting to go over the results, to then tweak our

approach accordingly.

3.Assessment
Since Daniels is an industry leader within the Abuja beauty and spa space, my team and I

are excited to team up and tackle the challenge of improving their current social media

standings.

As you know, successful social media marketing is the best way to get noticed. In my

research, I discovered that Daniel's current primary social media strengths include:

creating visual content to engage with the current follower base, using high resolution

pictures.
The current weaknesses Daniel’s will work to improve are as follows: generating catchy

content, using videos for engagement, video marketing by staff professionals, video

marketing and testimonials by satisfied clients, photo marketing of serviced clients, video

marketing with celebrities and influencers within the Abuja space, publicising discount

days, strategic symbiosis with other brands, use of more consistent promotional

campaigns, use of photo marketing/infographics, and using analytics to demonstrate

effective social media marketing.

By analysing the current successful marketing trends, such as: use of key words, creating

interesting infographics, and interacting with the audience in a fun and professional

manner will be useful ways to get started.

4.Solution Overview
I took time out to elicit information and requirements from the manager and also spent 4

hours in the Daniel facility in order to have a deeper understanding of the business and a

corresponding social media panacea to expand her social media reach and gain more

clients within Abuja.

Strategic Partnerships and Alliances

From experience strategic partnerships involves give and takes and it is mostly beneficial

to service-oriented businesses- Daniel’s is one. The following are the strategic

partnerships I envisage would be beneficial to the business and plug-in to the social

media marketing plan.

- Abuja Influencers
Influencers exist in every space and with the social media it is not hard to identify

and take advantage of them and their following. My proposition is, we would

identify influencers in Abuja who are on social media with a large following and

leverage on their influence to reach their audience. Ofcourse influencers do not

offer their platforms for free and thus, it would require that free services or

money honorariums will be exchanged for such influencers.

- Review Blogs and Travel Review Sites

One of my goals would be to ensure that Daniel’s gets good reviews with popular

travel, spa and beauty blogs in Abuja, Nigeria and internationally. Expats are a lot

in Abuja, and also visitors come in and go in Abuja. Review sites are places they

depend on for the best places to go for services. I would identify such platforms

with wide following and ensure Daniel’s gets great reviews.

- Clubs, Lounges, Event Organizers and Celebrities

Because of our extensive work, we are connected with clubs who bring in

celebrities into town on weekly basis. One of our strategies will be to close MOUs

with club managements to use some of Daniel’s services as part of their

hospitality packages for such celebrities. Our social media angle is to broadcast

their time on our social media channels (videos, tweets and photos) thus

increasing Daniel’s reach. Also, leveraging on some of the celebrity platform and

following could be worked out.

- Gift Prices on Radio shows with free and discounted

services
We would reach out to popular radio shows in Abuja where we will discuss and

close MOU’s with OAP’s where Daniel’s services can be offered as gift prices on

their shows at discounted prices or free (as agreed by management). This keeps

Daniel’s at the top of the beauty business in Abuja and open up more clients.

- Top religious Personalities| Hotels| Health Centres

One of our target areas would be to gain access to top religious personalities in

Abuja and offer them free or discounted services. What this aims to do is gain

their followers credibility. Also, we would identify hotels without beauty and spa

centres and offer Daniel’s services to them through an MOU and revenue sharing

formula. Also this strategy would work with health centres. Ofcourse all these

would be captured on Daniel’s social mediums to attract more following and

potential conversion rates.

- Deliberate & Targeted Referrals

Referrals is one of the most potent tools for marketing especially when its from

satisfied customers. We will be on-site for about 3 months to ensure a culture of

great service to your clients by your staffs, ensure they inculcate the culture of

collecting email, phone numbers, take pictures of satisfied customers and work

done for marketing and social media purposes and analytics.

- Beauty event fairs

Daniel’s will partner with beauty event fairs in order to showcase its services and

remain relevant within the Abuja space as an industry leader and trusted brand.
Social Media Channel & Strategy

Having identified the weaknesses in the social media offering of Daniel’s we propose the

following:

- Videos

Our strategy involves setting up a YouTube channel for Daniel’s to curate all her videos.

We would be responsible for capturing, uploading and linking these videos to all your

channels and website. Our video strategy also includes the following:

Speciality short videos

This is where we capture your stylists, barbers etc. carrying out their service and teaching

their audience the best practises or what we call DIY’s (Do It Yourself). This builds your

credibility in your industry space and gains you more following in Abuja. This could

involve but not limited to braids, weaving, carvings, makeup, beards carvings, health tips,

etc. We would create a time table with your management and staff as this will cut across

all your service lines.

Celebrity Visit

We would capture, upload and link every video of celebrity visits on all your social media

channels through YouTube linking

Employee Plug-In

One of the very best ways to increase social media presence and conversion is when

employees key into the vision and drive the social media change. What we wll be doing is

ensuring that all your employee develop a culture of using their mobile devices to

capture their best works, post them online to Daniel’s channels using linking and tagging.
To boost this culture, rewards would have to be administered by management to

encourage mass involvement (plus it improves their own personal skills also- it’s a win-

win for everybody).

Employee Profile Show of

Our strategy here is to build a convincing and professional resume on your employees

and display these on your social media accounts with their best pictures. What this would

do is endear them to potential clients who subconsciously build a connection with them.

This gives your brand more credibility and improves your employee ratings also.

Website

As part of research carried out, your website has been beautifully built with high

resolution pictures which captures Daniel’s. The choice of colours is also appropriate.

However we have identified the following things to be expanded upon:

- Create a blog which would be updated frequently with content focused on all

service areas Daniel’s practises

- Create an event display banner on the front page

- create a video panel for streaming your videos

- Create a products page as we discovered you sell some products which includes

the boutique section also.


- Re-jig the index page (front page) to include reviews from satisfied clients, these

are what potential clients wants to see. Reviews build confidence of potential

clients.

- If possible (based on cost) connect your social media streams to the webpage

- Create employee bio profile page

SEO Page ranking and Targeted Ads

One of the core uses of social media is to be able to target new and potential clients. We

will use targeted ads to get directly to Abuja online users thus ensuring that your target

geography is targeted by your ads. Targeted ads are paid for and subject to their own

terms and conditions but I would be able to advice on the most cost effective budget

regime to use for the most optimum results. I would also use page ranking services to

ensure that your page is No1 on search engines and people who search for your types of

services in Abuja online.

5.Digital Designs
As part of my services, I would offer my professional service in the area of designs for e-

flyers, video editing, photo manipulations, recordings, high definition cameras, etc. If and

when such designs need to be used for physical publishing it would be made available to

your staff for such purposes. All designs will be property of Daniel’s.
6.Implementation
Next Steps

The next step will be to

- Make a presentation to discuss and defend our proposal to Daniel’s

management.

- Depending on feedback, sign a contract or not

- Work with Daniel’s team to prepare a time table of work to be done (to include

deliverable milestones)

- Implement strategies

- Continuous business analysis and monitoring

Operations

Operationally, my team and I will not be stationed at your premises; we would visit 2-3

times a week to carry out our functions based on work package time table which will be

agreed with management and signed-off. But when there are emergencies we would be
available to deliver also. Below is a basic package responsibility we would perform (but

other packages exist on request).

I have a Master’s degree in business information system management from Middlesex

University and Iam also a business analyst. I have been in the business of social media

management and IT for about 9 years and have deployed social media strategies for

numerous start-ups and businesses. My clientele cuts across religious organizations to

clubs and lounges to family health and NGOs in Abuja.

I have a diverse range of contract staff I use for my operations from high-end society

photographers to web designers and content publishers. Over the years I have built a

network of online connects that help serve my professional purpose. I have a network of

influencers within social media and experience with the best way of leveraging their

networks.

8.Billing & Scheduling


My cost are a monthly payment but for the first month I would require a 50% upfront to

make agreed strategies go as scheduled.

Also note, my fee does not include any paid ad campaign costs; all ads will be subject to the cost of

advertisers. The following table shows a cost breakdown of my monthly costs.

Please note that the fee above represents my monthly salary which does not include

adverts and campaign fees. These would be determined during the first few weeks of

engagement with your marketing team after contract acceptance.

9.Terms & Agreement


Prior to a contractual agreement, elements of this proposal may be amended upon

collaboration with your organization.
