3 Site Survey Process

3.1 Preparations
After receiving the site survey notification, you should read the contract, Technical Proposal,
and networking diagrams, and understand the configuration of the device at each site and the
connection between the devices. If you have any doubt, consult relevant personnel immediately.
After familiarizing yourself with the entire project, contact the customer and plan the survey
meeting to arrange personnel, time, and task assignment.

3.1.1 Device Configuration List and Technical Proposal

Study the Technical Proposal and Device Configuration List to know about the project. If you
have any doubt about the Technical Proposal and Device Configuration List, or the technical
scheme, engineering responsibility definition, project schedule, contact the personnel responsible
for the contract and reach a consensus. The contract or the Technical Proposal may have
incorrectness or miss certain information. You should review whether they are feasible and
operateable using your knowledge about the project. Report the problems found to the marketing
and R&D personnel to revise the technical scheme and contract. This can prevent troubles brought
to the implementation of the project.

3.2 Survey Coordination Meeting

Usually, Datacomm projects are of great significance. Therefore, it is necessary to hold a
survey coordination meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to enable Huawei technical personnel
to talk with the customer's senior executive face to face. In this manner, we can obtain more
understanding and support from them. The forms of meetings vary with various projects. For
ordinary projects and low-level customers, we can have informal discussions with the customer.
For significant, complicated, and high-level projects, support from each department of the
company is required. The meeting can be held as a technical communication meeting.
After arriving at the site, the designing engineers should get in touch with the engineering,
maintenance, network construction personnel of the customer, explain the entire process of project
implementation to them, let them know the preparations and auxiliary facilities, and work out the
project schedule.

3.3 On-Site Survey

Survey the site if it meets the requirements. Submit the requests for auxiliary facilities, such
as power supply, grounding bars, air conditioner, cabling racks, and movable floors to the
customer in advance. Determine the location of the device, cabling routes, and space reserved for
capacity expansion with the customer. You can obtain construction parameters of the equipment
room, distances between equipment rooms, and count of the cores for optical fibers. During the
on-site survey, survey each item carefully according to the contract and site survey report. All data
must be recorded, and assumption based on experiences is unreliable.

3.4 Inspection of the Installation Environment

Besides the on-site survey, you should inspect the installation environment for initial
installation to ensure that the installation requirements are met. Then, fill in the Installation
Environment Examination Form and submit the Preparation Guide for Engineering Installation of
Datacomm Products to the customer, which guides the customer in preparations for the
installation.

Fill in commercial, project, user, and surveyor information. The report should be signed by
the customer representative in the user information column.
Commercial information consists of the customer name, contract number, and quotation sheet
number.
Project information consists of the total number of sites and the number of the sites to be
surveyed this time.
User information consists of the user name, contact person, telephone number, and fax
number.
Surveyor information consists of the name, telephone number, and fax number of the local
office, and the names of the surveyors.

3.5.2 Networking Diagram

Usually, the networking diagram is included in the Technical Proposal. You can obtain the
networking diagram from the marketing team. The customer also has the diagram issued by the
designing institute. You can also obtain the diagram from the customer or the designing institute.
This diagram should cover the devices used in the current project and the existing devices that will
be connected to the new ones, and the networking relations between the devices.
After the survey engineer receives the network diagram from the Marketing Dept, he/she
shall confirm the diagram with the customer first. If the diagram is not consistent with the actual
requirements, the survey engineer shall report the situation to the person responsible for the
contract in time. The engineer shall also revise the configuration list according to the actual
networking requirements and the services to be realized to meet the requirements of users.

3.5.3 Equipment Room Layout and Cabling Diagram

Fill in the cabinet layout with the location of the device specified in the equipment room
layout. This facilitates the review of the site survey, such as whether the side doors and bases are
available.
Write down the usage of the cabinet, for example, "For the CX600-4, CX600-8, or CX600-
16" in the blank odd line; write down the model number of the cabinet, for example, "N68E-22" in
the blank even line.

 New cabinets and existing cabinets are represented in various fonts.

 You can determine the numbers of side doors and bracket suites according to the
equipment room layout.

 New cabinets are represented in bold and existing cabinets are represented in italics.
 If the cabinets in a row are not attached to each other, make a remark in the
cabinet layout or leave a space.

3.5.4 Survey Datasheet

3.5.4.1Name of Equipment Room

In general, use the room number like 506 or 419 to indicate the detailed position where the
equipment room is in a site.

3.5.4.2Environment of Equipment Room

1. Floor Type
The type of the cabinet installation parts depends on the type of floors. Generally, there are
three types of floors: concrete floor, antistatic floor, and antistatic floor with cabinets directly
installed thereon.
For the concrete floor, the cabinet installation parts are expansion bolts.
For the antistatic floor, the cabinet installation parts are supports. Supports are usually
provided by Huawei. If the customer requests to fabricate the supports by itself under the contract,
the requirements for installation dimensions must be met. Make sure that the supports fabricated
by the customer cannot cover the downward cable holes of the cabinets.
For the antistatic floor with cabinets directly installed thereon, the antistatic floor is adopted
in the equipment room but the supports are not needed for cabinet installation. The cabinets are
fixed directly on the floor by bolts. This installation mode is generally used abroad. Huawei does
not recommend this mode. If the floor type is different from any of the previous, choose Other,
and make detailed description.
Pay attention that you shall carefully ask about the design and arrangement of the floor
before the equipment room decoration is completed.
The examples of the three installation modes are as follows:

Cement floor

CX600 Site Survey Guide Internal Use

2. Height of Antistatic Floor

If the floor is the antistatic floor, fill the height of the antistatic floor in the survey report. Be
sure to go to the place for installing the cabinet and measure the height of the antistatic floor by
yourself. Check whether obstacles such as cables and holes exist under the place reserved for the
cabinet. If yes, report to the customer and help solving the problem to ensure the successful
installation of the cabinet.
The height H1 of the antistatic floor surveyed on site is the vertical distance between the
concrete floor and the upper surface of the antistatic floor. See the following figure.

When determining the floor height, round down the height in a unit of 5 mm. The height of
313 (take 310) and 207 (take 205) cannot appear.
If the antistatic floor does not exist, fill in 0 for the height of the antistatic floor.
3. Cabling Modes
There are two cabling modes: overhead cabling and underfloor cabling. The customer
determines the cabling mode. If the trunk cables, clock cables, power cables and network cables
have different cabling modes, the cabling mode here refer to the cabling mode of the trunk cables.

2018-11-28 Huawei Confidential Page 17 of 59

CX600 Site Survey Guide Internal Use

The cabling modes of other cables must be described respectively in the cabling diagram. For the
overhead cabling, it is necessary to measure the lowest height of cable racks at the position for
installing the cabinet (If the antistatic floor is used in the equipment room, the height is the
distance between the lower surface of the cable rack and the upper surface of the antistatic floor).
Check whether the height of the cabinet in the quotation satisfies the on-site installation
conditions.
4. Height of Equipment Room
The height of the equipment room is the distance between the bottom of the beam or
ventilation pipe of the equipment room and the ground (when the antistatic floor exists, the ground
indicates the upper surface of the antistatic floor).

Note:
During the survey on the floor, you need to know whether the customer has special
requirements for the size of the bolts of the brackets. If the bolts are not of the default
size of Huawei, make a remark in the Survey Datasheet.

3.6 Cabinet Survey Overview

An assembly cabinet is optional. According to customers' requirements, the CX600 can be
installed in an assembly cabinet or in the cabinet provided by the customers, or can be used
without being installed in a cabinet.
The type of the cabinet is determined by the type of the chassis as well as site survey results.
When installing CX600 in the cabinet provided by the customers, please describe the specification
detailed in the survey report to avoid the risk of hard installation.

3.6.1 N68E Cabinet Survey

N68E Cabinet Introduction: The N68E cabinet can be installed on the cement floor or the
antistatic floor in the equipment room. The N6X support is used when the cabinet is installed on
the antistatic floor.

2) For the floor type of installing the cabinet on the cement floor, the N68E is directly fixed
to the cement floor. Each NE68E cabinet needs an installation suite.
Side door of the N68E cabinet: Its side doors are embedded on both sides of the cabinet.
When N68E-22 cabinets are aligned shoulder to shoulder, side doors need be surveyed.
Configuration rules for the side doors of the N68E cabinet:
1. When the N68E-22 cabinet is installed separately, one cabinet is equipped with two side
doors.
2. When greater than or equal to two N68E-22 cabinets, which are aligned shoulder to
shoulder, are installed, a total of two side doors are required. The side doors between the two
N68E-22 cabinets are not required.
3. When the N68E-22 cabinet and the N68-22 cabinet are aligned closely, remove the side
door from the N68-22 cabinet. It is because that the side door of the N68-22 cabinet does not
apply to the N68E-22 cabinet. In this case, an additional side door for the N68E-22 cabinet is
needed.
Shockproof Parts and Others:

3.6.2 Cabinet Purchased by the Customer and Survey checklist

When the CX600 is installed in the cabinet purchased by the customer (non-Huawei NE68E),
you need to provide detailed parameters of the customer cabinet in written form. If possible,
provide the images. The headquarters can evaluate whether the device installation requirements
are met. You must provide the following information:
 Depth (it is required to be greater than 800 mm), width (it is required to be greater than
600 mm), and height (it is determined according to the number of chassis installed in the
cabinet). For example, the height of one CX600-X16 is 32 U. The height of the
customer cabinet is at least 1800 mm.
 Distance between the rack-mounting ear of the cabinet and chassis and the outside of the
front cabinet door. For example, on the CX600-X8 and CX600-X16, the distance
between the rack-mounting ear of the cabinet and chassis and the outside of the front
cabinet door is at least 150 mm. In addition, the thickness of the front door must be
smaller than 25 mm to ensure the available space of 125 mm. If the available space is
smaller than 125 mm, the front door cannot be closed because the cabling rack is an

The AC power distribution frame EPS200-4850A (02400376) is different from the AC power distribution box
(02120415) in the CX600-16 5KW AC chassis. The AC power distribution box has one input and three outputs.
Each output has an air circuit breaker. The AC power distribution frame air circuit breakers. The monitoring
interface is connected to the CX600-X8 integrated chassis or the CX600-X16 integrated chassis through the
monitoring cable (04080076). Thus, the chassis can manage the AC power distribution frame.

The four air circuit breakers in the middle of the EPS200-4850A control four channels of AC
power inputs respectively. The four channels provide AC power for four rectifier modules
respectively, and the four rectifier modules outputs four channels of DC power.
EPS200-4850A can be applied to the 220 V/240 VAC and 100 V/110 V/120 VAC power
supply networks. In the 220 V/240 VAC power supply network, EPS200-4850A can output full
power. In the 100 V/110 V/120 VAC power supply network, you are required to provide double
live wire inputs. In this manner, the input voltage ranges from 176 VAC to 275 VAC, and EPS200-
4850A can output full power. Otherwise, it isn’t recommended that you use CX600-X8 AC
chassis. The output power of the EPS200-4850A depends on the output power of the configured
rectifier module. The rectifier module is the EPW50-48A&V (02130872). A single module can
provide about 54 A/53.5 V DC power.

The principle for using AC-input power cables is as follows:

For the power cables connecting the power distribution cabinet and the power distribution box: At the user
side, it is recommended to use two mutual-backup circuit breakers rated for 32 A for each power supply
input and adopt the Power Cable, 10mm^2, (BOM: 25030463) as the input-AC cable. One end of the power
cable connected with the power distribution cabinet is recommended to be OT terminals (BOM: 14170016,
M6). While the other end of the AC-input power cable connected with the power distribution box (BOM:
02120415) is recommended to be a cold end terminal (BOM: 14170146).
For the power cables connecting the AC power distribution cabinet and the AC power module: The input-
cable of the AC power module has connectors (BOM: 04043396). The C19 straight connector can be directly
inserted into the power module and the male connector should be cut and re-installed with a cold end
terminal (BOM: 14170098) for connecting the AC power distribution cabinet.

3.10 Survey of Fiber Jumpers and Network Cables

3.10.1 Survey of Fiber Jumpers

Principle for the delivery of fiber jumpers: The quantity and types of fiber jumpers are
determined by the contract. If discrepancies are found, record them in the Contract Problem
Report. The types and number of connectors for fiber jumpers at the device side are determined by
the Configuration Manual. The length and types and number of connectors of the peer device are
determined by the survey result.
During the site survey, the lengths of cables and fiber jumpers are measured according to
their ends and proper redundancy is retained. When determining the length of fiber jumpers, you
must survey with the customer and determine the cabling route, and reach a consensus.
Misunderstanding and errors must be avoided.
Optical fiber survey items:
Peer devices: indicate the devices directly connected to Huawei's Datacomm products, which
can be LAN switches, routers, optical transceivers, Optical Distribution Frames (ODFs), and
Optical Distribution Boxes (ODBs).
Type of the interfaces for the fiber jumpers on the user side: The connectors on both ends of
the fiber jumpers are prepared before delivery. You should survey the type of the interfaces at the
peer end. The Configuration department should determine which types of fiber jumpers should be
delivered according to the type of the optical interfaces for Huawei devices and the survey report.
When surveying the type of the interface at the peer end, fill in the survey report according to the
type of the device connected to the fiber jumpers and the type of the interfaces on the ODF.
Currently, the common types of connectors for optical interfaces are SC/PC, FC/PC, and LC. The
Broadcasting & Television Bureau usually uses FC/APC or PC/APC.
In principle, optical attenuators should be configured to the receiving end. Usually, optical
attenuators should be quoted by the Marketing department.
Lengths of fiber jumpers: indicate the lengths of the fiber jumpers between network devices
or between a network device and ODF. The standard lengths of fiber jumpers are 5 m, 10 m, 15 m,
20 m, 25 m, 30 m, 35 m, 45 m, 55 m, 70 m, 80 m, and 100 m. Fibers jumpers should not be too
long because the connectors on both ends of fiber jumpers are readily made before delivery, and
cannot be reworked on site. Fibers jumpers of proper length facilitate layout and protection. When
fiber jumpers are rather long, it is recommended that the customer be responsible for laying
optical fibers.

1. The type of the optical fiber must match the connector type used on the optical interface.
Therefore, the types of the interfaces at both the local end and the remote end must be taken into
consideration.
Currently, all the interfaces of the CX600 use LC connectors. You can select suitable optical
fibers according to the site survey result that shows the connector type used on the device at the
remote end.
Pay special attention to the configuration of the optical fibers of the pluggable optical
modules on an LPU. Interfaces with XFP modules and SFP modules all use LC connectors, and

2018-11-28 Huawei Confidential Page 42 of 59

CX600 Site Survey Guide Internal Use

thus must be connected to the optical fibers with LC connectors. Interfaces with GBIC modules
use SC connectors, and thus must be connected to the optical fibers with SC connectors.
2. If the length of the optical fibers listed in Table 3-30 does not satisfy the needs of use, you
can connect the adaptor 14130248 to the optical fiber to prolong the length. Alternatively, you can
select another optical fiber with a suitable length from 04100069.
3. Selection of single/multi-mode optical fibers: The type of the optical fiber (single-mode or
multi-mode) must be consistent with the type of the optical interface on the LPU. If the optical
interface is in single-mode, the connector in single-mode must be selected. If the optical interface
is in multimode, the connector in multimode must be selected.
4. The actual length of the optical fiber and the type of the connector that are used on the
opposite end must be provided in the site survey report.
5. Selection of the MPO optical fiber 14130375: This optical fiber is used for connecting 10G
POS RPR interfaces. One optical fiber (14130375) is required to connect two 10G POS RPR
interfaces because all optical interfaces on the LPU of the CX600 are of the transmission and
reception separated structure. Each optical interface needs to be connected to two optical fibers.
6. Two BIDI optical modules need to be used together. Only one optical fiber can support two
optical modules work. BIDI optical module only supports single model fiber.
7. By default, the corrugated pipe and spiral pipe are stopped to deliver in China. If
fragmentary requirement, please purchase locally.

3.10.2 Survey of Network Cables

If the device is configured with the Ethernet interface (RJ-45), the cable needs surveying.
1) Length: Indicates the distance from the Ethernet interface to other connected devices.
2) Cable type: The default type is unshielded cables. If customers have special demands, it is
noted down in the survey report.

3.12 Survey on Other External Cables of the CX600

Configurations cables, auxiliary cables, and network cables are lumped together with
engineering accessories without separate selection or configuration.

3.12.1 Configuration Rules for Clock Cables

If the CX600 needs to import the clock from the network, select clock cables from the
external cable suite according to the site survey result. If the CX600 needs to export the clock to
other devices, select clock cables of the required length. If the NE80 does not need to import or
export the clock, clock cables are unnecessary.
If only synchronizes frequency, for example, POS synchronization (Sonet, SDH service),
synchronization Ethernet clock transmit and receive, only need input and output clock. When
using the 1588v2 character, you should configure the clock and time input and output.
For the trunk cable of the clock, do as follows to survey the impedance and length.

2018-11-28 Huawei Confidential Page 43 of 59

CX600 Site Survey Guide Internal Use

1) Survey the impedance and length from the impedance transfer box to the trunk cable on
the device side.
2) Survey the impedance and length from the cock source to the transfer box.
One end of the clock cable is connected to the clock interface of MPU (SRU) board. It can be
120-ohm balanced cable (RJ48) or 75-ohm unbalanced cable. The other end of the cable is
connected to clock source device (BITS), or receiving clock device (downstream network device).
There are five factors to select the clock cable.
1) The type of MPUs (SRUs).
2) The clock character, only clock synchronization, or time synchronization.
3) The peer interface type and peer device type.
4) The signal format and definition between MPUs (SRUs) and peer device.
5) The length of clock cable according to the site survey result.

Except SMB cable (BOM: 04060171) with two SMB connectors, the other cables only have one
terminal to connect to the MPUs (SRUs), customer need provid the other terminal.

RJ48 Trunk cable is different from RJ45 network cable. The two cables can not substitute each
other.

3.12.2 Configuration Description of the Clock Cables of the CX600

The MPUs (SRUs) of CX600 support two fomat clock signal inputs: 2.048 Mhz clock signal
and 2.048 Mbps code signal (E1 signal). These two signals can be transmitted on the coaxial
cables or twisted-pair (RJ48 cable). It’s named for 75-ohm unbalanced mode when using the
coaxial cable. It’s named for 120-ohm balanced mode when using twisted-pair.
The MPUs (SRUs) of CX600 support two fomat time signals: 1PPS+TOD and DCLS. When
1PPS+TOD signal is transmitted on the coaxial cable, 1PPS uses TTL level, TOD uses RS232
level. Using 2 pcs coaxial cables to transmit 1 channel signal, it’s for short 1PPS+TOD (RS232).
When 1PPS+TOD signal is transmitted on the twisted-pair (RJ48 cable), 1PPS and TOD use
RS422 level. Using 1 pcs twisted-pair to transmit 1 channel signal, it’s for short 1PPS+TOD
(RS232). DCLS signal can only be transmitted on the twisted-pair, using RS422 level.
On the SMB interface, using coaxial cable to transmit 1PPS+TOD (RS232) signal. 75-ohm
unbalanced clock signal and 1PPS+TOD (RS232) signal are multiplex, the interface can support
only one work mode anytime. The device with RJ48 interface supports 120-ohm balanced clock
signal, DCLS signal and 1PPS+TOD (RS422). These signals are multiplex on one RJ48 interface,
the interface can support only one work mode modified through software anytime.

For some specially applied, it is recommended to use the converter to transform the signal if
the interface type of local device is different from the remote device. For example, the interface
type of the remote device is SMB. In this case, you should use the converter to transform 75-ohm
unbalanced cable to 120-ohm balanced cable. Then can be connected to the RJ48 interface of local
CX600-X3 device. The method to transform the signal and cable is same with E1 interface. Please
refer to the following configuration description of E1 interface cables. Because the conversion
affects the signal, please decrease this application.

3.13 Cabling Modes and Cabling Racks

You need to survey cabling racks only when they are specified in the contract.
Upward cabling:

2018-11-28 Huawei Confidential Page 52 of 59

CX600 Site Survey Guide Internal Use

Cable ladders can be hung on the ceiling or be supported by the wall. Cable ladders cannot be
supported by the top of the rack. If cable ladders are fixed in other modes, make a remark on the
"others" column.
The lower surfaces of cable ladders must be at least 2.2 m from the installation surface.
Otherwise, the rack is hard to install. When cable ladders are higher than 2.8 m, you need to install
a downward cabling ladder. The bottom of the downward cabling ladder should be 2 m away from
the installation surface.
Downward cabling:
Usually, antistatic floors are laid out in the equipment room if cables are laid out downward.
When there is an exception, lay out cables according to the actual conditions. Otherwise, you must
lay out cabling troughs along the cabling direction, including the cabling troughs from the
broadband devices to the operation terminals.
The cabling mode is related to whether the rodent-proof mesh for the cabinet has cable holes.
Therefore, the availability of cable holes on the rodent-proof mesh must be specified. When
upward cabling is adopted, the cabling racks must be strong and horizontal. The longer side of the
cabling rack must be parallel with the wall surfaces. The end of the downward cabling ladder must
be 2 m away from the installation surface.
If the contract specifies that the cabling racks are to be provided by Huawei, the path of
cabling racks must be marked in the layout of the equipment. Fill in the Survey Datasheet for
Auxiliary Devices and submit it to the configuration department together with the Site Survey
Report.

3.14 Site Survey Memorandum

The items unspecified in the site survey report should be recorded in the Site Survey
Memorandum. If necessary, the items unspecified in the site survey report should be recorded in
an appendix and signed by the customer.
1. During the site survey, if the customer does not meet the site survey conditions completely
or partially, inform the customer that the site survey cannot be performed in time, and the
shipment and project schedule will be affected according the clause of the contract. Write down
this in the Site Survey Memorandum. Request the customer to sign it and report the result to the
local office and headquarters.
2. If certain items are found not completed by the customer during the survey but the site
survey is unaffected, write down the unfinished items in the Site Survey Memorandum. The
requirements for each item and the completion date (earlier than the start of the project) must be
specified. Request the customer to sign it and report the result to the local office and headquarters.
3. During the site survey, the items not mention in the Site Survey Report and articles, such
as the cables and boards of special models (length and interface) customized for the customer
must be recorded in the Site Survey Memorandum.

2018-11-28 Huawei Confidential Page 53 of 59

CX600 Site Survey Guide Internal Use

4. If the customer raises special requirements, which mismatch Huawei's existing products or
cannot be met currently, list these requirements, write them down in the Site Survey
Memorandum, and report these requirements to the local office and headquarters.
For example, whether users have special requirements for the color of power cables and
have strict requirements for the length of optical fibers.

4 Inspection of the Installation Environment

4.1 Equipment Room Conditions

If the device operates for a long time in the equipment room, the temperature in the
equipment room should range from 15°C to 30°C and the relative humidity should range from
40% to 65%. If the device operates for a short time in the equipment room, the temperature in the
equipment room should range from 0°C to 45°C and the relative humidity should range from 20%
to 90%.Ensure that the device is protected against electrostatic discharge and electromagnetic
interference.
The floor of the equipment room must meet the bearing requirement of at least 450 kg per
square meter. The floor can be cement, water-polished stones, resin-painted floor, or antistatic
floor. The floor must be dust-proof, fire-proof, insulated, and wearable.
The height of the antistatic floor indicates the height from the ground to the upper surface of
the movable floor. Antistatic floors of 300 mm or 330 mm high are recommended for new
equipment rooms. If the equipment room is installed with movable floors, a base for the cabinet is
required. If it is stated in the contract that the base will be prepared by the customer, the size of the
base needs to meet the installation requirements.
The net height of the equipment room indicates the distance between the installation surface
and the lower surfaces of the girders or ventilation pipes. If upward cabling is adopted, the net
height should be greater than 3 m; if downward cabling is adopted, the net height should be
greater than 2.7 m. To facilitate the entrance to and exit from the equipment room, the size of the
door for the equipment room should be at least 2 m high and 1 m wide.

4.2 Preparation Guide for Engineering Installation of

CX600 Products
When submitting the Preparation Guide for Engineering Installation of CX600 Products to
the customer, remind the customer to prepare network resources according to the Network
Resource Planning Table and report lack of resources. Explain the meaning of each item to the
customer. Network resource planning includes planning of network address prefixes, IP addresses,
clocks, and signaling versions. IP address planning refers to the allocation of IP addresses to
broadband switches, MA series devices, such as MPUs and LAN switches, severs, the Network
Management System (NMS), and operation terminals. Clock planning refers to determination of
the sources clock for the Datacomm products (self-excitation clock or circuit-tracking clock). If a

CX600 Site Survey Guide Internal Use

circuit-tracking clock is used, you need to find the optical interface or service interface from
which the circuit-tracking clock source originates.

4.3 Required Material and Responsibility Division

The equipment and material to be prepared by Huawei and the customer, and responsibility
division can be specified in a diagram.
The device part of the responsibility division diagram must be based on the contract. If the
responsibility division diagram is to be provided by Huawei, change the broken lines to real lines.
Usually, the fiber jumpers, network cables, and electric cables to be provided by Huawei are not
longer than 15 m. Therefore, the customer should place the interfaces for service cables (adaptors
included) close to broadband devices. If certain responsibility is unspecified in the commercial
contract, you should negotiate with those who handle the contract and the customer. If the division
of material provision and project implementation are various, work out diagrams for material
provision and project implementation separately.
If the customer requests us to provide material that is unspecified in the contract and that is
usually not provided by Huawei, contact the sale personnel to solve the problem.
