Weber Shandwick
Human Resources
Bloomington, MN 55437
Upon receiving my degree in Public Relations from Texas State University I feel I am ready to join
the Weber-Shandwick team and be an asset to the brand. I am applying for the Corporate Intern
position at the Minnesota office in order to start my journey with the company. I offer the required
positive attitude, drive and strong belief in teamwork which makes me a prime candidate for this
position.
Prior to applying with your company I was an intern with Lone Star National Bank. While finance
was not my main career goal I was able to thrive and learn in an environment that was outside my
comfort zone. Due to my experience with the financial institution I now understand interworking
of a business. I was able to spend time shadowing in various departments including wires, BSA and
corporate. I have gained the experience to now be flexible wherever I am needed within the
business. I understand that each individual part of a corporation is important to its success. I feel
these skills and experiences make me a prime candidate for this position.
In addition through my coursework from Texas State University and beforehand I have proven to
be strong in the aspects of design and media writing. I have the creativity, organizational skills,
attention to detail, communication and a unique motivation for leadership which allows me to be
the spark your company is after. I believe we never stop learning after our technical schooling ends
and I would love to continue my education of public relations, media, creativity and corporate skills
the intern position would provide.
Please be aware that I am open to any position in which your company sees would be fit for my
skills set. I would be honored to play a role in your team. I would like to thank you for your time
and consideration. Please contact me with any further questions regarding my application. I look
forward to hearing from you.

Girls on the run volunteer, Carly Miller is a direct example of how Kendra Scott’s
involvement helps inspire young girls. To Carly, the Girls on the Run core values are
important and relatable in all stages of life. Since her mother, sister and her became
involved with the organization she saw a shift in the way they talked about themselves,
connected with others and nurtured their health. While I was coaching a GOTR team in
college Carly said she left each practice feeling challenged ad inspired to be the type of
person Girls on the Run girls were aiming to be.
“I knew what it was like to be a young girl dealing with self-esteem issues, but they I saw
how positive it was to live by the GOTR values and be surrounded by those that did the
same. I wish I had access to GOTR when I was younger which is why I feel so strongly
about encouraging our community to participate.” Carly said.
Kendra Scott is proud to support Carly, the girls she coaches and every volunteer involved
with Girls on the Run. Kendra Scott is also proud to be part of the world that inspires girls
to find their inner strength, stand up for others, and celebrate what makes them one of a
kind. By shopping at Kendra Scott a customer can have a direct impact on a young girl’s
