PDS Product Support through 2020

Introduction
Intergraph Process, Power & Marine’s 3D plant design software has been successfully used for
the design of process plant across all major plant design sectors for more than 25 years. As the
global market leader in 3D plant design, PDS® today continues to be used by engineering,
procurement and construction (EPC) companies and owner/ operators (O/O) to support the
detailed design phase for major capital projects. Over this period, PDS has established a
substantial, successful track record and has been used globally on many projects which
conservatively represent an overall CAPEX value totaling billions of dollars.

To maintain its market leading position for 3D plant design software, Intergraph has invested in
excess of US$100M over the last several years to develop a new, “next-generation” data-centric
3D plant system – SmartPlant® 3D – integrated within the SmartPlant Enterprise software
environment. SmartPlant 3D introduces significant system, architectural, technical, and end-user
benefits.

PDS Software Updates and Product Support

Intergraph has publically confirmed our commitment to continue supporting and providing
software updates to PDS through 2020 to support existing customers and current commercial/
contractual commitments. The latest version of PDS for example includes among other things,
improved publishing to SmartPlant 3D, SmartPlant Review, SmartPlant Foundation and
SmartPlant Construction.

In addition, this letter confirms Intergraph’s commitment to continue supporting and providing
upgrades to PDS through 2020.

Intergraph will continue to support PDS beyond 2020 as existing PDS customers plan and
implement migrations from PDS to SmartPlant 3D for new projects.

PDS Model Data Conversion and Migration

Recognizing the need to protect the investments made by customers using Intergraph’s plant
design software and projects, Intergraph has developed a number of supporting PDS 3D model/
data import and migration tools together with complementary consulting services to facilitate the
conversion of model data from PDS into SmartPlant 3D. A key objective in this approach is to
retain 3D model intelligence linked to associated attribute data.
