Sheared granite
PROVISIONAL INTERPRETATION
• large fault at SE of area at kampar river
• direction deduced from fractures especially
the quartzofeldspathic or river flow n-nw to
south
• Quart dyke event intruded granite and
extended to the north west
• Different type of schist found due to distance
from granite or different country rock

Shear Zone
PROBLEMS AND PLAN FOR FOLLOW
UP
• Need To Deduce Possible Direction Of Strike Slip Fault
– Find maximum stress from fracture data collected
– By looking at the fracture system compare with landscape
• Type Of Granite And Age
– study the geochemistry of granite and iron ore
• High amount of iron outcrop especially in metamorphic
from granite intrusion or iron rich sediment
– Was it highly related to granite intrusion or mostly
hydrothermal
• Same unit or different unit of metamorphic
