Application Description

The bypass isolation system is

mandatory for applications where
maintenance, inspection and testing is to be
perform, while maintaining continuous power to
the load. The application also inclludes critical
life support systems and standby power
situations requiring safe system maintenance
with no power disruptions. Such a design allows
for the quick isolation of the different devices
such as automatic change over-
systems,UPS,Volatge stabilizers ,fuel cells etc
for inspection, maintenance or replacement
purpose.

Advantage of the PCTL Standard
range of the automatic change over
switch over isolating contacts type is that
the operation of the motor operator
requires supply,only during short interval,
when switch over is required from one
source to other,after the transition the
contacts remain in stable position and do
not require any power,thereby reducing
the stress of abnormal control supply on
their operating conditions.
Second advantge is that it can be
offered with thermal and shortcuit
protections by utiizing the mcb,s for
switching from one source to
another,instead of contacts.
Third advantage is that in case of
the automode failure immediately the
supply can be fed from one source or
another by using integral bypass .
Fourth advantage is small foot
prints requires a smaller and compact
design.
