1 Pre-Requisite For PSAT

1.01 Record details & visullay inspect all connected systems

1.02 Varify availabilty of approved IRN

1.03 Varify all duct access doors are securely closed.

1.04 Varify Electrical circuits are completed, inspected and approved

1.05 MCC panels are installed and commissioned

1.06 ATS panels are installed and commissioned

1.07 Ensure that lock out tag out in place.

1.08 Ensure HSE in place.

1.09 Ensure availabilty of approved drawings.

1.10 Ensure T & C Procedure is approved

2 Pre-Commissioning Checks

2.01 Check motor & fan name plate and compare with approved submittal

Fan casing free of debris and transit bolts removed. Check the

connection of fan inlet & outlet are done with proper alignment
2.03 Fan rotates freely

2.04 Varity all respective electrical components before starting the fan.
2.05 Direction of Rotation of fan

2.06 varify that there are no abnormal sounds or vibrations

2.07 Anti-vibration mountings in good condition and secure.


Check the fan is installed as per the approved shop drawings and

manufacturer’s instructions.
2.09 Casing access covers secure and airtight.

2.10 Motor holding down / adjusting bolts secure.

2.11 Guards secure (If Applicable)

2.12 Flexible connections are properly installed and are in good condition

2.13 Flow direction as per the marking on the fan casing

2.14 Fan belts fitted and correct in type (If Applicable)

2.15 Check pulley alignment and check belt tension. (If Applicable)

2.16 Check fan and motor bearings for lubrication. (If Applicable)

2.17 Check Electrical isolaor for access and varify circuits & operation.

2.18 Check Electrical isolaor for access and varify circuits & operation.
