Reflection
1. How long do the children spend on one task?

The teacher plans for every activity only for four minutes.

2. What kind of tasks do they do individually? In pairs? In groups? As a class?

They set down in four groups, but they have to do their work individual. Only the
activity that happens in the middle of the carpet area is a class activity.

3. How does the teacher introduce the task? How are the instructions checked?

She introduces the tasks by hearing the sound of the first letter of their names. Then
they stand up and take a band then choose one of the activity they want. Then she sets
down on a specific group and follows up with students. She assesses their
understanding by asking questions. Checking how well they did their activity.

4. Work with a child. Ask him/her about what they enjoy doing at school. The
activities/subjects and why.

Mahmoud enjoys learning using technology. Such as the smart board, and IPads.
Mahmoud loves Arabic subject because of his father. Secondly, Ayah enjoys playing
outdoors. Plus, playing with his friends. Her favorite subject is Islamic because she
loves reading Quran, and she loves the Islamic teacher.

5. Ask a child about the things they are good at and also about what they want to
learn more about.

Mahmoud is good with numbers in English, and he wants to learn more English letters.
Ayah is good at numbers and letters, but she wants to learn about the letters more
because of her family.
