a. I was Dean of MS Ramaiah Foundation, Bangalore (estd. 2007) reporting to the Director. I was
overseeing three Institutions viz., RIMS (PG), RIBS(UG) and RILS (5 year Integrated Law) programs
between Feb and August 2018. I handled matters like Academic Administration, Admissions, Branding,

Academic Standards Committee (ii) Internship & Dissertation Committee (iii) Executive Committee

Disciplinary Committee. I also pursued the Students Mentoring System at the Institute.

e. As Chairman-Admissions at TAPMI, Manipal for four years between 1999 and 2003 I handled the
work related to 2 year – fully residential PG / MBA level Programmes – PGDEM and PGDM (for
Manipal and Bangalore) for 4 years (1999 – 2003). Several changes in distribution of application forms
through bank branches all over India and Internet were made to increase the visibility of TAPMI and
attract number of applicants from 2,600 in 1999 to 10,000 in 2003. Similarly, conducting of Group
Discussions and Personal Interviews was also systematized by introducing innovative methods in the
selection process. I also worked as the Men’s Hostel Warden at TAPMI, Manipal for two years between
2003 and 2005. I managed the website – www.tapmi.org of the Institute from 2003 to 2006. I did co-
ordination work for TAPMI Centre for Executive Education, Bangalore supporting the Dean
(Administration) in 2005-06. I was a Mentor to group of students under the Faculty Advisory System
during all the years.

I taught courses like 1. Executive Communication, 2. Book Keeping and Accounting, 3. Management
of Banking & Financial Institutions, 4. Financial Services, 5. Retail Banking and 6. Management in
Practice (MIP). At TAPMI Centre for Executive Education (formerly Essae-TAPMI Academy),
Bangalore, I taught a 3-Credit Course titled “Financial Services” to students of the 2-Year Executive
PGDM (part time program for Working Executives) between January 2004 and August 2006.

f. During the 21 years (1971 – 1993) in SBI, I was posted/ exposed to rural, semi-urban, urban and
metropolitan areas Branches, Hyderabad Regional Office and Central Office, Mumbai of SBI – in
operations and planning wings of the Bank. I was promoted as Trainee Officer to Junior Management
Grade in 1977, Middle Management Grade - Scale - II in 1984, Middle Management Grade Scale -
III in 1985 and Senior Management Grade – Scale-IV in 1990. All the promotions were all-India
merit based. My last assignment was Chief Manager of Sangareddy Branch, MEDAK Dt., AP in 1992 -
1993. I opted for voluntary retirement in April 1993 and am a Pensioner of the bank now.

Approach in rural lending in branches of State Bank of India” and “ Effectiveness of Non-
Banking Working Day in rural branches of State Bank of India” in the year 1990-91.
2. A paper jointly with Prof Meghdoot A Karnik on “Convergence of Financial Sector and
Insurance” for presentation at a Conference organized by University of Calicut, Kerala in
November 2000.
3. A Monograph in 2002 on Benchmarking in Training and Development jointly with Prof
Vidhu Shekhar Jha for Indian Journal of Training and Development.
4. Published an article titled “Impact of Economic Reforms on Indian Banking” in Special
Banking Issue of Indian Economic Panorama, New Delhi (a quarterly journal), January 2002.
5. Presented a paper jointly with Prof K S Srinivasa Rao, titled “Can Public Sector Banks
