Unit Activity Yard Target Games

Unit Context Learner Characteristics: High School, equal number of


males/females, no adapted students, mostly athletes

Physical Environment: Outdoors on football field unless bad weather

Unit Goal Application of target skills in outdoor yard activities.

Unit Objectives Psychomotor: The students will hit the target or be in close proximity
to it with the frisbee/bean bag/ball.

Cognitive: The students will explain the basic rules of each activity.

Affective: The students will utilize all players on their team and
encourage others to participate.

Health-Related Fitness: The students will demonstrate upper body


muscular endurance by playing continuous tournaments of outdoor
individual games.
