Wali :

Good morning my name is Wareesha. My team includes Ismael, Reyah and Zain. Our goal today
is to talk about Sir isaac newton and his 3 laws of motion. Isaac Newton was born in 25
December 1642. He was an English physicist, mathematician and astronomer. He is famous for
his work on the laws of motion, optics, gravity, and calculus. he made three rules and they are :
1.Every object moves in a straight line unless acted upon by a force.
2. The acceleration of an object is directly proportional to the net force exerted and inversely
proportional to the object's mass.
3. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
To explain it simply, the first law says that objects tend to "keep on doing what they're doing."
In fact, it is the natural tendency of objects to resist changes in their state of motion.

Zoha
This brings us to the concept of inertia. Before Newton’s laws of motion people believed that
objects naturally come to a rest. They thought that force was needed only to keep objects in
motion, not to stop them. They come to rest on their own.
Galileo shattered this concept and introduced us to friction. Both Newton and Galileo built on
the idea of inertia. It is the tendency of an object to resist changes in its state of motion.
It depends on mass. The more inertia that an object has, the more mass that it has. A more
massive object has a greater tendency to resist changes in its state of motion.
They also introduced us to Inertial frame of reference, in which the frame of reference could be
stationary or moving in a constant speed without the influence of any accelerating or
decelerating force.

Hiba
Our hypothesis is: Stationary objects remain at rest unless directly compelled by an external
force.
Our experiment contains the following materials.
1. Hard surface to place components.

2. Toilet paper roll, cloth, a cup, a ball or an egg,

3. A paper plate
Maryam:
 We pick a sturdy table or counter surface to perform the demonstration. We will fill the
drinking glass about three-quarters full with water and center the pie pan on top of the
glass. After placing the cardboard tube vertically on the pie pan, positioning it directly
over the water, we will set the egg on top of the cardboard tube.
 Our goal is to get the egg into the glass of water, but we wont touch the egg, the
cardboard tube or the glass of water. The only thing we will touch is the pie pan.
 What do we need move the pie pan and cardboard tube out of the way in order for the
egg to fall into the glass of water? That’s right . . . Sir Isaac Newton’s First Law of Motion
and smack the pie pan out of the way.

Danyal
Newton's laws hold true and they govern many processes of the
universe.
Our ending question to you is
Imagine a place in the cosmos far from all gravity and friction. Suppose
that you visit that place and throw a rock. Do you think the rock will
gradually stop or continue in motion in the same direction at constant
speed?
