1. Choose and describe an aspect from a teaching competency that you need to work on (Goal)

Through my last observation, I did in semester six. I found one of the teaching to work for the next
lesson is practice speaking before I start teaching to children in the classroom and correct my
language in speaking.

2. Describe what you will do to help achieve your goal (Strategies Used)

The strategies that I will use to practice and achieve my goal. First, I will write the steps what I will
do in the class in details in the sheet. Second, I will make a practice speaking in my home and before
start the lesson to avoid any mistakes in the class. Also, to achieve this goal when I teaching children
in the classroom.

3. Describe how you can tell if you’re achieving your goal (Evidence)

The evidence I can see if I achieve my goal when I reserved the MCT and MST evaluation feedback
after the lesson.

Let’s review the classroom rules.

Then I will say for children today I will teach you anew number to know this number we will play a game.

The games is I need one student come to count apples in the box with me.

So, the number for today is? Nine.

I will give 9 of you flashcards and they have to come in circle area.

Then, I ask children what number you have? 1, after 1 what? 2 , next? … Then? I complete with the children
unite number 9. Then, I say for children go back to your place.

Now, I will show you how to write number 9.

Steps are: Make letter C and put one.


Time: 10min

Then, I give children chance to write number nine in the whiteboard bythemself.

Name of the activity: hangers T-shirt from one to 9.

What the teacher will do?

- Provide to children hangers that writing inside number 9 and 8.

- Give to children different small T-shirt include numbers from 1 to 9 with clothespins.

- Requires to children to ordering the numbers according to the number they have if it is 9 or 8.

What will children do?

- Take the hangers.

- Take the small T-shirt that written numbers from one to 9.

- Ordering the numbers from 1to 9 and hangers by using the clothespins.

I will sit with this group and evaluate their understanding the concept by using the checklist and
writing notes.

Independent Experience (small group activity 1)

Name of the activity: formal the numbers by using play-dough.

What will the teacher do?

- I provide for children the flashcards with play-dough.


- I require from children to count how many apples they see in each flashcard and formal
the numbers according to the number that written in the card make the dots in the tree and
make a dots in the empty box.
What do the children do?

- See the materials in the table.


- Using the flashcards and start counting how many apples they have been seeing.
- Using the play-dough to make the number above number they have, make dots in the
tree and inside the box.
Independent Experience(small group activity 2)

Name of the activity: matching numbers with chain link.

What will the teacher do?

- Provide to children different flashcards include numbers from one to nine.


- Provide to children the link to make a chain link.

- I required to children to say the number they have and make a chain link.

What do the children do?

- See the materials in the table.

- Each child will take the numbers from 1 to 9, using the link resources according to the
number they have.

Independent Experience(small group activity 3)

Name of the activity: make number 9

What does the teacher do?

- I provide to children six plates with two baskets inside it the cubes.
- I required to children to join numbers that get number 9. For example 5 +4 = 9.
What do the children do?

- Each child will take the plate.


- Using the cubes and join numbers together to find number 9.

What does the teacher do?

- Play clean up song and return materials in right place.

- Ask questions for children what they learned from the new lesson about number 9.

Which are:

- What number did you learn today?

- Who we can write number nine? Show me in the air and the ground.

- How can found for me number nine in the class?

I will assessment children work by using the formative assessment plan which makes a checklist and writing
notes while children doing the activity. In addition, recode children work by taking a photo of their work.
