Hi!

Hi Nick
Can you help me?
I live in a new place and I realy like it here. I like my job in the
supermarket – it’s not easy but I’m very happy there.
There is just one problem – I haven’t got many friends. What can I
do? I haven’t got much money and I work during the day.
Thanks
Ali

MOSS GROVE SCHOOL BREAKFAST CLUB

MONDAY TO FRIDAY 8am to 9am.

What is the Breakfast Club?

Your child can have breakfast in the canteen. The children can eat cereal, toast
and have fruit juice or milk. They can play games and there are toys too. Older
children (aged 6 and above) can do reading or homework in a quiet room. Children
can’t watch television or play video games.

Who are the staff in the club?

Three teaching assistants play with the children every day. They stay with the
children at breakfast time. Also, there are always teachers in the school at this
time – they can help in an emergency. Parents can speak to the staff about their
children, but not in the morning. Appointment times are from 3pm to 4pm.

How much does it cost each day?

• £2.50 per child
• + £2 for each brother/sister
• 50p for parents on Income Support
