Concept
A short animated film using techniques of claymation and editting
techniques such as montage and green screen. The animation is designed to
draw attention to the issues of global warning, intending to shock the viewer
into action to reduce the environmental impacts that cause global warming.
While most people accept that globally warming exists most people are less
willing to change behaviour and act.
The production is being made to respond to the task set by Viibe. Viibe
Productions is putting on it’s very first ‘BeCreative’ Moving Image Festival
BeCreative Moving Image Festival is open to all Creative Media 2nd
year students.This event will be taking place over the winter period, inviting
individuals or production teams to submit a selection of short films, stop
motion and music videos for a particular audience.

Target audience is
The target audience for this production are adults aged 25-40 years. This
deomgraphic is called generation Y and is typified by young adults
represented many different ethinic origins, employment rates are high with
most in employment. Many of them are based in London and the south east.
The generation have grown up with technology and are often seen as the
smart phone generation. They use social media in particular facebook. Their
lives are hectic and therefore they are often short of time.
As they are short of time they want short entertaining and informative films
that they can watch using smart technology on the go. They want to be
entertained and educated and want to access the information online.
Research has suggested that generation Y are environmentally aware and

most likely to be green consumers. They search on terms such as global
warming.
The production will be available online via youtube. Research suggests that
this demogrphic are ‘addicted’ to their phones and use a lot of social media.
53% use social media as a mobile app and 47% use a video sharing service
such as you tube.
