PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
The Legal Intelligencer, Staff Reporter, Philadelphia, PA October 2008 – Current
 The Legal Intelligencer and its sister newspaper, Pennsylvania Law Weekly, are niche publications that
provide comprehensive coverage of key legal issues in Pennsylvania and the business of law. As the
paper’s primary statewide reporter for both publications, my responsibilities include covering the
state’s appellate court system, key judicial seat races, emerging legal trends and judicial corruption. I
also manage a group of contributed writers – four a week – and provide the first edit on those pieces.

Courier-Post, Staff Writer, Cherry Hill, NJ August 2006 – October 2008

 The Courier-Post is a regional publication with an emphasis on Web site updates throughout the day.
As the criminal justice and public safety reporter, my primary responsibilities included covering crime,
legal issues and breaking news in Camden, a city twice named America’s most dangerous, and 100
southern New Jersey suburbs. From late 2007 to October 2008, I conceptualized and helped to develop
online features, including audio slideshows, videos and interactive maps, to accompany major stories.

Delaware County Daily Times, Intern, Primos, PA May 2006 – August 2006
 Served as a general assignment reporter covering flooding issues and widespread power outages caused
by a strong summer thunderstorm, curfew initiatives related to previously unreported juvenile violence
and vandalism problems, and establishing a local connection to national story lines.
