I will welcome the students then we will revew all letters with sound then I will let them know
that our new letter is S and we will practice the sound for the letter.
After that I will show them some flashcard with the S sound and I will ask the students if they
know any names with letter S.

At the end I will read for them a story for letter S ‘sea dog story’
Then I will show then the activities we will do at the tables and then we will move to the

Where is letter /s/: each student will have marker and paper with all letters the students have to

Gumball machine: Each student will have one paper with gumball machine and letters cut in
circles already.
The students have to find letter /W/ and stick it in the machine.
Each student will have a ‘massage envelope’ and it has 3 different letters and 5 /w/ letter.
They have to find letter w and stick it in the machine with glue.
Blue table
Mud activity: each student will have a plate with mud and wood stick.
The students will try to write letter s and if so they will write some words start with letter S.

After the activates we will back to the circle area and will review the letter S I will ask
some students to come and try to write letter S as a review and I will assess the students if

I will assess them in the closing time with asking some students to come and write letter S or other
letters.
