TP Task 1 – Promoting Scientific Thinking

This task is linked to ECE3703; using higher level questions (Bloom’s Taxonomy) to
develop students’ thinking. Teaching students the skills of scientific thinking is not only
for science class, but can be applied to any area of learning.
Explain how Knowledge, Comprehension, Application, Analysis, Synthesis,
Evaluation.

In the math lesson which was about rectangle shape, and the question was who will

show me any object in the class have rectangle shape?

In this lesson the students were very engaged because they can move and guess and

tough, also in this lesson the student do better in cutting and sticking activities more

that coloring, for example in this lesson the student did the activity about sticking

rectangle shape and make a robot. So they were very existed.
