INTEGRATION IDEA - PORTFOLIOS

Multiple students can collaborate, making group or classwide portfolios.

In my classroom, for instance, students can collaborate throughout the semester to make a “History-Wiki” which would include
their research as well as the research of others to make an online resource for them to study. This information would arguably be
vital to a study-guide for testing.

VALUE-ADDED EXPLANATION
This resource deserves a value rating of 3, as it aligns to the global collaborator standards, and adds a whole new meaning to the
portfolio. This makes it a worthwhile endeavor for students, giving them the means to create a study guide filled with a plethora
of information. It’s student centered, and is engaging because they can collaborate to gain a better score on their assignments
and tests.
