Lost Treasure Step-by-Step

1. Start at the red rock.

2. Trace a 50-pace radius circle around the red rock.
3. Trace a 70-pace radius circle around the red rock.
4. Cut a really, really long piece of the rope and bring it to the base of the hill.
5. Cut a really long peace of the rope and bring it to the red rock.
6. Cross the two strands of rope along the 70-pace radius circle.
7. Use the protractor to make a 40-degree angle with the two strands of rope along the 70-
pace radius circle.
8. Where they meet to make a 50-degree angle along the 70-pace radius circle is where the
palm tree originally was.
9. Walk along the rope towards the base of the hill 32 paces and dig there.
10. If treasure is not there, walk an additional 41 paces along the rope towards the hill and
dig there.
11. Treasure found.
