our Christmas activities, dates for your diary and photographs.
Christmas Card
Again this year each child will design their own Christmas Card and have it signed by everybody
in their class. Saving paper in this way continues to support our Green-School status in the area
of recycling.
Open Evening
A big thank you to all the people who came out on a cold, wet night for our Open Evening. We
hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
Christmas Concert
This years Christmas Concert will take place on Wednesday, 19th December in the hall. The
Junior and Senior room will each perform a play. The Junior room will perform “Santa’s Cookie
Problem” and the Senior room will perform “The Wizard of Oz”. There will be two performances
of the concert on that day; The first performance will be at 2.00pm in the afternoon and the
second will be at 7.00pm that night. We encourage as many parents/siblings as possible to come
to the afternoon performance to ensure there is adequate space in the hall for the evening
performance. The children are working very hard in preparation for our Christmas
Concert and we thank them for their efforts and in advance we thank you the parents and the
wider community for your support. Tickets costing €5/€3 will be on sale in the school office on
Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. If there are tickets left they will be for sale on the door on
the night.
Christmas Crafts
The children in both classrooms will be involved in making Christmas Crafts on Thursday, 20th
December at 1.00pm. If there are any parents who would like to help on the day please contact
the school as your help would be very much appreciated. Thank you for your cooperation.
Special Visitor
A special visitor will be coming to the school on Thursday, 20th December at 11am to see all the
boys and girls. We look forward to a fun-filled morning. If younger siblings would like to come
along, they will be very welcome.
