1. The president, John Kenneth Oro, started the meeting at 2:15 P.M.
2. He first informed us that “Poetry in Motion” was moved on second semester due
to lack of time for preparation.
3. He also informed us that the photo booth, activity assigned to GEM, was already
set.
4. There is a problem encountered in photo sketch because one of the participants
in the activity had just gone to their province for good.
5. Daryl Villalon, one of the members of GEM, illustrated his plan for the photo
sketch which will be a gift to be given to Dean Villa. He also explained what
would be the set up before letting Dean Villa see the gift.
6. Mr. Peter Buenaflor then informed the officers that the sum total of the money
collected from the English majors is P3,640.00, though there are few students
who have not yet paid yet.
7. Then Mr. Peter gave the money to the treasurer, Ms. Khristine Ligon to keep the
money.
8. Mr. Kenneth assigned BSE- A21 English (AM) to make a presentation for the
World Teacher’s Day on October 3, 2013.
9. The officers talked about the allocation of budget for the flag, banner, photo
booth, photo sketch and balloons to be used for the events.
10. The officers also tackled about the video presentation for the tribute for teachers
on October 3, the president said that there must be 13 teachers who will be given
the tribute on the video presentation.
11. The officers canvassed for the banner of GEM for the World Teachers’ Day, the
officers agreed to have a flag in the size of 2x1 yard.
12. The officers also canvassed for some expenses that might be encountered for
the activities.
