The article ‘How New Technologies Are Changing Language Learning For

Better And Worse’ is about how AI, AR and VR are used as tools for learning.

Most languages are not based on the memorization of vocabulary or

understanding, but instead on cultural knowledge and situational awareness, as

well as studying foreign languages for personal and business interactions.

Therefore, AI, AR and VR can help these in these areas and seems to be

visible technology-focused solutions for outcoming immersion-based learning

and provides access to a simulated environment for those who don’t have the

privilege of travel, but are limited to studying languages more practically. Finally,

they are one of the most valuable tools to enhance language learning

processes, making the self-study experience more impactful.

Language learners should not worry about spending large amounts of

money to study languages. I believe that studying abroad or traveling is the best

way to study foreign languages because language learners can study not only
languages, but also culture, leading to a better study of foreign languages. But,

there are risks such as accidents while studying abroad. They also cost lots of

money to conduct, so many language learners hesitate to study abroad or travel

to study languages. If AI, AR and VR become popular in education technology,

language learners will get excellent language skills in the future. However, AI,

AR and VR is limited in teaching practical language completely. Therefore,

teachers should emphasize to language learners that AI, AR and VR have

limitations of practicing, so learners should recognize that they are only tools

which may help them to study practical language skills.

The article abstract is that language teacher today are faced with so many

fascinating options for using technology to enhance language learning that it

can be overwhelming. Addition, they should recognize identify which resources,

tools, or web sites may best fit a particular lesson, activity, or goal. It is

important for language teachers how they can leverage those interactions to the

benefit of our learners, and how they can engage them in learning experiences

in ways that will encourage them to practice language extensively.

In conclusion, when considering the use of existing, evolving, and new

technologies, it is essential for language teachers to consider the extent to

which they facilitate learner centered instruction and developing an

understanding of these foundational underpinnings before we can effectively

look toward the future.

Education technology change newer and newer so teacher also should get

new skills such as computer skills and new technology device skills. In addition,

teacher education major curriculum will change in the future. I am interested in

new education way and useful technology for language learning. However, I

concern about one or two problem because teachers never take new

technology class as a students. Besides, they are hard to understand not only

education technology skills and students opinion because l teachers and

students education environment is difference.

The other problem is some teacher was borned in old generation so they are

hard to use new technology even if they said that they are hard to use friendly

electronic devices such as iphone and ipad. They only know old teaching way
so they lose their job or some school fire them. Especially, new technology like

AI and computer learning is useful for language learning so language teacher

should prepare to get new technology skills.

Finally, I think that teachers require to be flexible to change education way

and it is clear that people must be comfortable with what are currently new,

intelligent, and incredibly sophisticated resources if people want to be language

teachers in the future. Therefore, teachers make time to understand the great

opportunities and obligations that will form the new landscapes of world

language teaching and learning.

This article is abstract that game based learning is efficiency beliefs and

attitudes toward English. The reason is learning foreign language is hard and it

takes long time to acquire, so language learners have to keep motivation. Some

students dislike studying language and hard to practice. Accordingly, game can
help keep studying and keep motivation for learners and Kinect invent game

based learning. Moreover, students are able to experience practically English

like speaking and learning because game is CG and can be simulation learning

even if students don’t have a time to practice with native speakers.

In conclusion, Kinect based games had positive effects not only students’

attitudes but also self-efficiency beliefs. Addition, these learning have positive

effects on the learning process for learner to enhance such as speaking and

listening skills.

Teacher should take in game language learning in class as soon as possible

because it is useful for many way. Especially, children or students who have

obstacle on blain is hard to study for long time so they need enjoy to study for a

long time. In addition, some children can be easy to memorize from

entertainment like television, game and computer. For example, I used to watch

many Japanese animations when I was child and some animation is created

from Japanese histories so my favorite subject was history. Therefore, game

language learning may help memorize fast for children.

However, game based learning has limitation because speaking and listening

is the most suitable way to improve from it. On the other hand, writing and

reading are the hardest part to be enjoy to study. Thus, teachers should

separate to use each language learning way like watching movie, reading book

and conversation with friends.


Finally, game might be one of biggest education technologies in the future

and my major is kids English teacher education. Therefore, I will be positive to

integrate English learning game for kids and I want children to get particularly

speaking and listening skills, because these skills are easiest to acquire for

children. Japan become global society and children must study English as well

as Japanese now. I think that technologist should focus on develop game

learning technology more to be much more high quality Japanese English

education.

This abstract is that giving example about successed schools that positive to

use education technologies. The Edinburg Consolidated Independent School

District in south Texas is providing three education technologies for students

and having big impact a big impact on English language in particular. First,

online library which student create own accounts and can read digital books

from the school online library site whatever they want. Furthermore, each word
is systemed in online library dictionary so students can search immediately and

hear pronunciation when students cannot understand some vocabulary.

Second, diagnosis tools which can assess individual students level and an

adaptive instructional engine that serves up lessons tailored to each child's

specific skill level. The system help teachers clearly understand each child's

progress, so they can intervene with one-on-one instruction or additional

support as needed. Afterwards, the system can provide students some advices

and recommend some books automatically.

Third the others system is online conversations, catch students speaking and

conversation with students on computers and this system is targeting on

students who feel nervous to talk to native speakers and want to practice more

speaking.

Finally, Teacher education technology is used and massive success

practically. I supposed that success keys from listening students’ obstacle. If

we make better education technology, should think what is the obstacle for

students. For example, some students is hard to speak to native speaker and

hesitate to speak with them so teachers provide for students online speaking

system. Teachers should ask students opinions about technologies and some

obstacle by questionnaire once a year.

In addition, some education was false and some education was success so

teachers try to keep finding students’ obstacle and contact technologies


company to be invented better education technology. By doing so, education

technology disadvantages will releve.

This abstract is abstract that transactional distance of psychological distance

between the student and his peers, his instructor and teacher, and the learning

content, has been a prominent construct in technology mediating engagement and

communication, because transactional distance in online distance learning rely on

technology or interaction. Transactional distance may also be perceived in face to face

education, as it is a relative rather than an absolute term.

Meanwhile, online class students shows that run short of relationship with

satisfaction. Although transactional distance is partly determined by individual student

characters that cannot be readily manipulated, choosing delivery and communication

technology and this decision may be more critical for improving satisfaction than

previously thought. Moreover, it shows the importance of effective, efficient, and

satisfying learning technology to learning in order to improve transactional that in turn

mediates and highly relevant for student satisfaction. Thus, online and distance

education providers should advised to plot test learning technology and use the scale

to assess the adequacy of the technology in relation to student’s computer proficiency

to solve this problem.


To begin with, I think that education keep developing and change in the future. On

the other hand, new matter will make like this topic problem at the same. For

example, I supposed that teacher job contents are not only teaching something but

also checking to students’ condition and health, so teachers don’t have a chance to

check them.

In addition, this topic concluded that learning from online or lecture is up to individual

students characteristics and efficient for their style. However, I disagree this idea

because I know that some students who don’t like communication prefer to learn from

online class. If they continue to take class from online, they will be hard to

communicate with other person and get jobs. Therefore, I think that they should

overcome their communication disorder by face to face lectures. Some classes may be

all of the online classes in the future and I will anxious about relationship between

teachers and students will be decline, but online class have also many benefits. Thus,

best way is making requirement and students can select favorite styles. For instance,

teachers install that students must take more than two classes each online classes and

face to face classes.teachers should create the best curriculum and matching for

students character.

To sum up, I keep studying about education technology particularly language

learning because I want to be a kids English teacher and Japanese teacher in the

future. Actually, education technology like game learning, VR and computer are

fascinate for me and I want to take in my classes in the future. Technology will be

essential tools for language learning. I should understand these technologies’

advantages and disadvantages to use my classes. However, I like to communicate with

people so I don’t want to depend on education technologies and I also like traditional
teaching like lectures. Therefore, my objective is good at using not only technology but

also face to face lecture now.
