BIOGRAPHY

John Dick Villa was born on October 15,1997 and currently lives in

Bancaan, Naic, Cavite, with his mother Imelda Villa and his sister Dianna Rose

Villa.

He completed his primary education at Bancaan Elementary School on

2010, finished secondary education at Naic Coastal National High School on

2014 and presently taking up Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at

Polytechnic University of the Philippines Maragondon Branch in Maragondon,

Cavite.

Contractor Services.

To the employees of JFTR Electrical & Waterline Contractor Services that

becomes his co-workers for one and a half month of his training period. They

taught him about engineering design, electrical, solar and waterline installation.

And lastly, to the God Almighty who always give her strength in everything

INTRODUCTION

On The Job Training is a way of teaching the students the usual work

being performed in the course they are inclined. It is a form of training that the

students undergo to experience the world of the professionals. It is a way to

practice them to be aware on the field that they have chosen. It enhances the

abilities of the trainees by being able to apply their learned skills from school to a

certain company related to their chosen career. OJT is very helpful as it practice

the trainees to become a competitive worker in the future.

The company where the students undergo their training serves as their

ground of learning as it gives a chance to the trainees to see the actual cycle that

is happening inside a company. As the student enters their training grounds, they

should know the rules implementing inside the company since this new

environment prepares them to become a professional. The things that they learn

inside the company can be a great help on their career and this training can

enhance not just the ability of the student to do a task but also to communicate to

their co-workers. This OJT will help them to improve their weakness and use their

strength to finish a task that was given to them.

Training supervisors guide the students on its OJT inside the company.

The role of the trainer is a big part in completing the students experience in their

On the Job Training. They can teach the trainees on how to work as a

professional since they were experienced workers. The help of the mentor to the

students will motivate them since they are new in this environment.

On the Job Training is very useful as it gives the students the opportunity

to excel on their chosen field and it let them experience a new environment. This

practicum experience is a way on how they can grow and improve their

knowledge in their course.

PRACTICUM EXPERIENCE

The trainee started his On the Job Training at JFTR Electrical & Waterine

Contactor Services on the 16 th of April year 2018 that last for about 332 hours.

The company is consisted of field of aspects like installation and maintenance of

electrical meter base, electrical wiring, piping system, air-conditioning and solar

panels. The trainee was assigned under this different engineering fields, where

he was guided to learn about engineering with the field of electro-mechanical.

On the first week of the training, the trainee was introduced to his co-

workers on the field he will be train. He was assigned to help and observed on

the installation of electrical wiring on the warehouse located at Balagtas,

Bulacan. He also assist in installing the wires and breakers for the warehouse.

The trainee also help on some installation of solar panels, like the 5Kw

solar panel installation on Imus, Cavite within the 2 nd week of his training. Within

this time the trainee was exposed to installation of electrical meter base and

troubleshooting of it.

On the 3rd week until the 6th week of the trainee on the training, he was

exposed to different fields like the designing of an elevated water tank that

includes computations and CAD design of it. The installation of piping system is

also included on the training given to the trainee to be able to show how to

design and install these types of work.

On the last week of the training, he experience another solar panel

installation on Lumang Bayan, Plaridel, Bulacan and some electrical field

installation on the new project on Bulacan Metro Warehouse. The trainee have a

great experience on the field of electro-mechanical engineering. The company

gives the trainee an experience that was helpful for him to understand a lot of

things that he can apply on his degree and future work.

RECOMMENDATION

JFTR Electrical & Waterline Contractor Services has been operating in

NCR and Region 3 since July 2016. It is located at 2F Building Sitio Hangga, Sta.

Rita, Guiguinto, Bulacan. It had established multiple business contacts who

helped the company pick up major business accounts. JFTR Electrical

&Waterline Contractor Services provided a safe and reliable works in the field of

electro-mechanical.

The company was founded by it's owner, Mr. Patricio D. Fandiñola Jr. to

provide full-service and maintenance in the field of electro-mechanical installation

and consultation. Together with his son, Engr. Beaver L. Fandiñola, who act as

the project manager of the company, they successfully run this company.

This company can provide for a student an On the Job training to help the

learner to experience the world of professionals. The trainee can encounter the

pressure and the environment of an employee. In this way, the student will be

prepared for the future work that she or he will encounter.

It is important for the students to experience their OJT in a place where

they can learn things that is connected to their course. A company where they

can enhance their skills and also gain a lot of knowledge. This place should

represent as their new learning ground as they adapt to a new environment they

are facing.
