IMSI Signaling Real-Time Trace

4.1.1.3.1 ZTE EPC

IMSI Signaling: In the System Tools->Unified Data Tracing->Task

Managementwindow, selectIMSI Signalingand double click or click button,

the task setting dialog will appear,see the figure below.

In the tracing scope window, enter task name, core network IP address and

IMSI code to be traced. , clickto add IMSI to Selected Items.

ClickNextbutton, and select the items you want to trace.

Click Nextbutton and one new setting dialog appears.

Just set the End dateyou want to stop trace.The other parameters use default
setting.

Click Finishbutton,the task setting is finished.Then click to synchronize the

task.Now,you can trace the IMSI level signalings.

4.1.1.3.2 EPC from other Vendors

1. The core network of other vender deliver IMSI task

2. ZTE stuff obtains IMSI No and TraceReferenceID from the core network of
other vendors.

TraceReferenceID can be otained from S1 standard signaling: S1 Tracestart

Enabling a UE-Level signaling task in a Cell which the UE is attached, in this way
can the S1 standard Signaling be obtained. As the EPC enabling the IMSI task,
the S1 standard Signaling is created when UE attach the Cell.

IMSI Signaling: In the System Tools->Unified Data Tracing->Task Management

window, select IMSI Signaling and double click or click button, the task
setting dialog will appear, see the figure below.

First, enter task name; second, write the IMSI code and the Trace reference code,

click to add IMSI to Selected Items.
