Tonight, Jack and I will
spend seventy-two hours in
the glorious heat of Oman’s
capital city, Muscat.
Over three million tourists
ventured to the city back in
2017, with the country being
well on track for 5 million
visitors annually by 2020.
JACK
And now, Bridget and I will
be exploring this gorgeous
cit.
BRIDGET
We’ve got a table booked
under Whitehall.
A man laughs after Bridget
speaks.
JACK
No, it’s not a joke, that my

JACK
Get ready Muscat, because
we’re here to explore you.
BRIDGET

our taxi cab that’s waiting
outside for us.

Both of these malls are fairly
new and very different to
European malls that you’re
used to going shopping at
with your mum on a Saturday
to buy useless tat. Both
MGM and Avenues, as the
locals call it, are together so
that the public can access
them easily in a matter of
minutes. This was easy for
Bridget and I, so it’ll be easy
for anyone.
JACK
Ready to press on?
BRIDGET
You are the worst person to
travel with.
JACK (V.O.)
Upon leaving the malls,
Bridget decided she wanted
to be reckless and try
something that was much
later on our agenda, but
being the gentleman that I
am, we went for it.
BRIDGET
You keeping up?
JACK
I’m not wearing the right
shoes for this escapade.
