Beach 116th Brightens Up


Spirits were merry and bright at the Beach 116th Street Christ-
mas Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 1. Despite some light
rain later in the night, a large crowd came out to enjoy singing
by PS 114 and Channel View students, hot chocolate and good-
ies, and even a visit from Santa Claus. Father Bill of St. Fran-
