○ I represent a leadership organization that empowers young women, starting when they enter into

○ I tutored middle school students and continue to tutor high school students. My clientele base

advancing students’ understandings of their various curriculums to be extremely rewarding.

○ I babysit for various families in my neighborhood because I enjoy jobs where children are
involved.

○ As a mentor in this organization I teach underprivileged students the basics of how to read and

○ After school I assist elementary aged Latino students with learning English.

■ When my classes finish for the day I go to the lower school and aid the enrichment
organizer by leading themed educational activities for the students in subjects such as
engineering or reading. Additionally, I assist in organizing their classrooms.
● St. Peter’s Episcopal Church - Sunday School Teacher September 2016 - Present
○ I work with two groups of children aged 3-5 and 6-9. I help teach them biblical lessons by
leading various activities and discussions, and watching over them to ensure their mental,
emotional, and physical well-being.
● VolunTeen Program: The North County Regional Library May 2016 - August 2017
○ In the summers of 2016 and 2017 I volunteered three days a week at my local library. During my
second year at the program, I was promoted to a Teen Lead, meaning I was charged with
overseeing the other VolunTeens and given greater responsibilities.

○ On my school’s senior trip 5 students were selected who showed various qualities that our school
looks for. I won the empathy award because of my initiative to welcome new students and make
them feel at home in my school, as well as my ability to reach others on an emotional level and
provide support to them.

○ The minimum number of service hours required for my age to grant eligibility was 250, I did
280.
