a note from the Office
Holiday Shop - Holiday Shop is next week! If you have time to help please
see the link below:

Winter Weather - Plan ahead and assuming that we are outside

daily. Knapp uses the wind chill temperature to determine being out or
inside. If it not too cold we are playing outside in the fresh air. Any time
the wind chill temps are above zero, and dry, we spend our recesses
outside. Contact the office 364-1100 and we can help if you are
struggling with coats, hats, mitts and boots. Knapp has an amazing base
of families who would be more than willing to support, supply, and
donate to our students in need.

Car Signs – White, Yellow or Blue. Where is yours? If it is not in your

dashboard daily you need to call, write or come in and get one/two from
Mrs. Schweitzer in the office 364-1100. Please help us out – we cannot
guess who you are and where you need to go to pick up your child.

Spelling Bee – Top spellers will be facing off at 4:00 in the gym on Tuesday,
December 18th. The grade level dynamos will be tested on their words in
hopes that they are one of Knapp’s representatives moving forward into
the final round in January. It is going to be exciting! A big
congratulations goes out to those students who are going to take on the
challenge in this year’s spelling bee.

Volunteers – Another thank you to all of those parents who are

volunteering here at Knapp. There are so many of you that are willing to
help on a daily weekly basis. Thank you for Friday Folders, lunch helpers,
drivers, lesson aides, and all others in between. For those of you who
have not taken part…ask your homeroom teachers how you can be a
part of what happens at Knapp. We would love to have you around the
school.
