Through the student teaching
process, I have seen many times
where the social emotional needs of
the students are not being met.
Students have trouble handling their
emotions and have situations going
on in their lives which seriously
impact their ability to learn.
Teaching students how to handle
their emotions, providing resources
to families in need, and teaching
students to express themselves in a
variety of ways can lessen the
negative impact that outside and
inside influences can have on the
students' education.
