SWC Lesson Reflection

The lesson I taught kindergarten 1 students was an English lesson (sound /r/) my

learning outcomes for the lesson was that students will be able recognize sound /r/,

demonstrate knowledge of letter sound and distinguish between letter names and letter

sounds. Students were fully engaged when I used the soft toy, I loved how they were so

excited to know what’s the soft toy is whispering in my ears. One aspect didn’t go well; I

didn’t focus on showing the students how to write letter and sound /t/. When I will

teach next time, I will make sure to focus on writing the letter by using different

strategies such as, writing it on the air.
