Overview of the lesson: Lesson’s objective was reviewed with the students. Prior knowledge was
activated using various questions. Taif shows great confidence in her presentation. The students
were highly active and engaged during the lesson’s introduction.
Great job refocusing students’ attention half way through the lesson through some quick exercise
movements.
There was high level of cooperation among the students during the group activity.

Areas for development: Objective written on the lesson was not clear, “Students will be counting
the numbers are made from one number & two numbers by using addition”. Lesson’s
introduction states that the teacher is going to provide some examples, then solve the equations.
However, there were no explanations on the topic of the lesson.
Lesson plan was vague and difficult to follow.
There were no evidence of concrete and pictorial representation.
Personal target mentions using a checklist to assess students’ understanding. Yet, there were no
use of checklist throughout the lesson
