Introduction (warmer activity + teacher active engagement)

- Teacher will tell story of numbers at the beginning of the class that related to the last lesson and
through the story students will say which operation they should use and how many digits in the
number then, solve the question.

- Introduce the lesson by give easy example to more complex examples such as, four digit numbers

- Teacher will model the activity in the smart board

- Teacher will distribute the worksheets and small papers for the groups (in each group 5 students except
two groups 3 students) so, some sheets will include 5 questions and some sheets three questions.

- Each student will solve one question in the small paper then, write the final answer in the worksheet.

- Review the answers together to make sure.

- The first group finish will get the key of the door but they will open box rather than door then; they will
get stars for the reward chart.
10 min - The stars will be put in the reward chat after the class finish.

Independent Experience (individual activity 2) worksheet (you do, I watch)

- Teacher will model the activity in the smart board

- There are three types of worksheets follow the differentiation

- High level: they will write the numbers that in the top in the questions then, they will solve the
questions and will have two questions with rounding. One of them has one rounding and another one
have two rounding also, they will check the output by using the addition and they will have a question
of problem-solving that include subtraction equation.

- Middle level: they will write the numbers that in the top into the questions then, they will solve the
questions and will have two questions with one rounding also, they will check the output by use
addition.

- Low level: they will have ready questions to solve it without rounds then, they will check the answers
by use addition.

At the end of the lesson I will distribute numbers cards for all students then, present questions and let the
students to solve it with their own after that, any student has the answer in the number card will come behind
