Experience
Born in Naples in 1958. Graduated in Political
Economics and a professional journalist since
1990.
Worked in the international finance group of
Bocconi University and with the SDA (Bocconi
School of Management). 1986-1990, worked at
Telemontecarlo for a TV finance programme.
1991, started working with Rai, first at Tg1 (TV
Channel One’s News Desk), before moving on
to the brand new Children’s News Desk. Next,
began a new experience with Radio 3, hosting
a programme for children and with Tg2’s
television programme “Costume e Società”.
1999, winner of the Italian “Saint Vincent”
Press Prize.
2008, appointed Senior Editor of Tg 1’s
“Società” desk.
January 2014, began working at the 24 hr.
News Channel RaiNews 24 to be there
appointed Chief Editor.
April 2017, appointed Head and Secretary
General of Prix Italia, the international
competition organised by Rai aimed at
celebrating innovation and excellence in
television, radio and multimedia.
