REMOTE CONTROL PANEL ( RCP )

USER’S GUIDE

MODEL:PWM-Plus
General Security Warnings
1. Do not put any materials beside, around or on the rectifier that may block the inlets on the cover
and prevent its air circulation.
2. Do not put any flammable, burnable, combustible materials around the device.
3. Do not allow anybody to use the rectifier; only the appointed, authorized personnel must use.
4. Connection and installation of the device must be done by an authorized-qualified electrical technician.
5. In case of any fault or abnormal situation,do not interfere in the interior fittings of rectifier on your
own;switch off the device and call technical service or authorized dealer company.
6. This device was designed for only industrial usage with the aim of operating on the mains voltage
3-phase or 1-phase + earth. It is not suitable for indoor usage.
7. It can not be used as battery charger or electronic circuit feeding element.(The usage locations are
indicated in case special purpose manufacturing.)
8. The earth ground must be connected to the device body while making mains supply. The earth ground
must be put on the YELLOW-GREEN clips on the input panel or earth screw.
9. The rectifier’s mains cables must be chosen according to its input current. The cables which do not
have suitable thickness to this current may cause fire by warming. The aluminium lD plate on the
rectifier indicates I1 value which is the current that the device draws from mono phase.
10. In case of any damage for any reasons or any liqued has been spilled into the device, first switch off
it and turn off the power. Then immediately call the technical service.
11. Only original, appropriate components are allowed to use. Manufacturer is not responsible for any
damage occurred because of inappropriate or poor quality component usage.
12. Never open the doors of the running device and change input and output connections. If required,
First of all make sure of switching off the circuit breakers.
Installation
• When you deliverred your device, take off its package, then control it if there is any physical problem.
If you find any one, give prompt notice of the situation to the dealer company from which you have
bought the device before processing.
• Determination of the place for the rectifier; The rectifiers should be allocated far from corrosive
effects, in a dry, well-ventilated place where it can stand in balance. A well-ventilated place enhances
the efficiency of the rectifier.
• Preparing the rectifier for first operating; Before operating, check capacity of your mains voltage.Your
appliance was produced in accordance with 380V or 220V 50Hz AC voltage + earth. If there are
ripples at abnormal levels and decreases longer than %5 in your mains supply, please do not start
up the rectifier without making necessary adjustments. Your appliance has protective equipment
against over-current. If you have to, please choose an appropriate cable that is recommended by the
manufacturer.
• Read the instruction manual carefully before operating the rectifiers. The red busbar indicates (+)
pole and the black busbar (-) pole. Be careful and connect them tightly. Be attentive to any looseness
about busbars. Normally, remote unit cable is connected to terminals (RS485) on the power panel.
First, place the remote control unit on a suitable place for remote control connection. Then place
the cables where they are in safety against the crushings. After the last connection controls, start up
the rectifier. (For devices which have remote control unit).
• The rectifier consists of two main parts as device and remote control unit(RCU). During operating,
output voltage and current values can be changed on the panel without stopping the rectifier. Your
appliance will be ready to use if the power input connections are ready. As mentioned above, you
must follow these instructions if you are sure that there is no phase fault.
• For the first start, set the input fuse On state to operate the rectifier.

Maintenance and Cleaning of the Rectifier
Actually, the device was designed needing as the least maintenance as possible. But it is necessary to
maintain and clean the device periodically just as every electrical appliance. Its cleaning is quite easy as
the exterior surface of device has oven-drying. So, it is enough to clean it with a piece of wet cloth. If
there is layer of oil on the surface, you can clean it with the help of liquid cleaner easily. Take care not
using hard cleaning materials. Never use supplies such as thinner, gasolin, solvent which may harm paint.
If there is a state of corrosion at connecting terminals, you can clean it with an emery. Protect your
device against dust, damp and other corrosive materials. Only the authorized personnels should carry out
maintanence of the device. Within that period, device cables should be controlled. If there is any one that
has bad isolation or has no more high-quality, they must be replaced with the original ones.If the device
is in an ambient that is prone to get dusty, then use compressed air to remove dust. Never clean inside of
device with a brush and so on. You may damage to highly delicate electronic parts without noticing. The
maintenance of the device must carried out by the technical service personnels at least once a year.
Technical Support
Please contact with our technical service in case of any device problem.Never respond to
the failure yourself.Otherwise, it may cause more damage. Here is our address and phone
number that enables you to contact with our technical service.
