OBJECTIVES OF SAARC

The objectives behind the formation of SAARC is


1. Promotion of welfare

To promote the welfare of the people of south Asia and to improve their Quality of life.

2. Corporation with international and regional organization

The main objective of SAARC is too corporate with international and regional organization with
similar aims and purposes.

3. Acceleration of economic growth

To accelerate economic growth, social progress, cultural development in the region and to
provide all individual the opportunity to live in dignity

4. To promote collective self- reliance

To promote collective self reliance among the countries of south Asia.
