Program link: This task is associated to the guidelines of the course EPR 3023 – Teaching Methods for
the Primary School Teacher (Course learning outcomes 4 – Plan and implement appropriate modes of
assessment for primary mathematics teaching and learning)

Objective: Describe how you monitored the learning when the students were working on their activities
and identify the tools used to record your data. For each lesson you teach, you will describe the tool
that you use to monitor the work of the children. In the second column, you will describe how you used
that tool and you will reflect on how useful it was.

Grade Level: ____2\4________ MST Name: ________TaiF Ramadan_____________

For each Tools used to monitor the Explain why you used that tool and reflect on
lesson learning (rubric, notes, how successful it was
taught chart…)
1 First I wasn’t using any of the (rubric, notes,
Lesson 1 Checklists checklist...) I just observe the students and if I
saw someone struggling I will go to help but
then I know that I’m not focusing in all the
students so I decided to use the checklist, it
benefit me a lot specially for me as I teach two
classes.
2
Lesson 2 Checklists The checklist include the things I want the
students to achieve, so I can tell by observing
who understand the lesson, and who works
together as groups, and if they behave with
others or not. I have some points so I can focus
while teaching.
3
Lesson 3 Checklists I can use it for myself too, like did I did the
introducing? Did I give the student time to solve
the questions and so on...?
Its help me to be organised, to know what I will
do during the class.
4 Sometimes they principle change the schedule so
Lesson 4 Taking notes it didn’t go as the way i plant. So the notes with
me and I write on it what do I need to do for next
time, for example, the activities was very hard, so
I need to explain, and I will use this notes to do
the best in other class.
Also, I takes note when I see my MCT teaching.

5 Sometimes taking pictures of the student works
Lesson 5 Taking pictures is better that writing notes that they did it,
It’s an evidence that they really did their work in
did the nice way. So I will give the student to
hang them on the wall. It will be as a motivation
too.
6 I start taking picture of student work, to remind
Lesson 6 Taking pictures me of the activities that I give the students. To
not use it again. And to do the same for the
other class.
And to put it in my e-portpholio.
