Identify a lesson and what standards are you addressing
The lesson was about repetition addition and the LO was that by the end of the lesson the students
will know the meaning of repetition addition. Also, they will be able to solve repetition addition
questions.

Describe (D):
What were you trying to achieve in your lesson?
In this lesson I want the students to know how to solve repetition addition and I want them to do
it in easy way by remembering the skip counting.
What did the students do?
The students was engage to know the repetition addition and they were active.
In the opining the students was engage to listen to the story and solve the question during the
story. Also, the students count by 5, 10 and two to make the lesson easier.
Then the students start to do the activities in groups by solving some questions.

Why do you think the students responded the way that they did?
The students was very active and they were very excited to listen to the story.
How well did your teaching relate to the students’ prior understanding?
I start the lesson by skip counting which students already know it. Then I make connection
between skip counting and repetition addition. This connection help them to understand the new
lesson.
How well did you engage the students?
The students engage the beginning which is the story. Also, they engage the group activities.

Appraise (A):
Did your lesson meet your teaching goals?
Yes, I did each part on time but I have to do extra activities for who finish early or make the
activities more challenging to take more time. ( some groups finish in 5 min that’s way I have to
make it challenging)

How might you enhance student learning of this lesson in the future?
Make the activities more challenging and make more activities. Keep the class students center.
What are the implications for your professional practice?
I use signals to organize the students so this thing help me to keep the class calm.
