SUMMARY

An IT Engineer with more than ten years of experience in various of IT works. Work
experience covers from helpdesk, networking (Cisco routers / switches), PABX, VSAT,
and radio communication.

1. January 2014 – Present, JSC (Self Employed) in Medan


Main duties and responsibilities :
 Assist some client to install and configure CCTV, internet cafe
 Manage own internet cafe

2. Juli 2012 – December 2012, as an IT Support of PT. CSC Indonesia and services PT.
BHP Billiton in project sites.
Work schedule : 5 weeks on duty – 2 weeks off duty
Main duties and responsibilities :
 Support user in two project sites (Muara Tuhup and Bumbun) starting from

5. July 2008 up to September 2009, as a Network and Communications Engineer of PT.


BHP Billiton Indonesia, located in Balikpapan and direct report to IT Superintendent
Main duties and responsibilities :
 Provide technical support in all aspects of data, voice, radio and video
communications.
 Configure and administer PABX Avaya.
 Ensure integration of voice and data, distributed processing, standards such as
ISDN, and communication switching equipment.
 Supervise radio communication in Balikpapan office and all sites.
 Setup additional VSAT with VSAT vendor at BHP sites and do monitoring
from Balikpapan.
 Involved in development of IT infrastructure at new camp starting from
network installation, radio communications and electrical grounding.

6. July 2006 up to June 2008, as an IT Officer of PT. Harrisma Sistem Informasi and
services PT. BHP Billiton Indonesia as a client.
Main duties and responsibilities :
 Responsible for providing individual support to user, including installation,
configuring hardware / software, performing desktop / laptop diagnostics,
troubleshooting, and providing informal instruction on using hardware /
software.
 Administer all desktop related functions including hardware / software set-up
and configuration.
 Do troubleshooting on network connectivity, desktop configuration, printers
connectivity.
 Make standard installation for Operating System using Symantec Ghost.
 Inventory all hardware : computer, laptop, printer, and blackberry.

Main duties and responsibilities :
 Assist helpdesk to maintain all desktop at site and office of PT. Total
Indonesie.
 As deployment team of sprint project to deliver at least 2000 new computers /
laptops to all sites of PT. Total Indonesie, do the application test and ensure all
applications are running well on the new desktop.

 July 2003 up to May 2006 as Helpdesk Officer (outsourcing) in PT. Kaltim Prima
Coal, Sangatta – East Kalimantan
Main duties and responsibilities :
 Support user at Sangata and Lubuk Tutung sites by phone and remotely based
on trouble ticket from Helpdesk Supervisor.
 Assist Helpdesk Supervisor to create Standard Operating Environment (SOE)
 Deploying Norton Antivirus to all clients using Symantec System Centre.
 Install and set-up VPN client to all laptop that used for business trip.
 Make documentation of software/hardware installation and troubleshooting
with Operating System : WinNT 4.0, Win9X, WinXp
 Involved in Preparing, Staging / Imaging and Deploying at least 800 new
computers in PT. KPC – Sangatta, Balikpapan, Samarinda to replace all old
computers (O/S : WinNT 4.0, Win9X) with various applications and ensure all
applications are running well.

8. March 1997 up to June 1999, as a Laboratory Assistant at Laboratory of Computer


and Control System University of HKBP Nommensen, Medan – North Sumatera
Main duties and responsibilities :
 Assist head laboratory of Computer and Control System. Monitor and guide
students to do practical work such as logic circuit, microprocessor, servo
