FACTS OF THE CASE:

(GRAVE COERCION) : One Jade A. Manuela (“Manuela”), 34 years old,

single, resident of Sitio San Isidro, Aglipay Quirino, appeared at this station and
reported that he and his farm workers, while spraying pesticides over their rice
plants, on or about 8:00 a.m. this date, was allegedly coerced by a certain Cardo B.
Tarun (“Tarun”), armed with a hand gun, along with several other armed men, to
vacate a parcel of lot situated at Paraiso, Batal, Santiago City.

Initial Investigation conducted by this station at the place of the incident

disclosed that Manuela is the current occupant and tiller of a rice field and Tarun
showed an alleged Land Title Certificate showing that he is the lawful owner of said
land. After showing them the land title certificate, they were ordered to vacate the
land and as they refuse to do so, Tarun and his accompanying armed men pointed
guns at them. After one of Manuela’s farm worker ran and call for help and when
people began arriving at the scene, Tarun and company immediately retreated. Said
incident occurred on or about 8:00 A.M., this date.
